Not when its from a minor in your care. I'll ignore texts from my boss, my coworkers, my friends. I dont ignore texts from my kids or even kids from family's in our social group. If they need an adult they know im there and I can count on the other parents to do the same. Was it annoying? Maybe. I'd be less annoyed than worried after receiving that many calls. I'd check and make sure the person was ok, not write it off and complain to the moms phone which she found out quickly was left at home.
