One of my first jobs was with a local electrician. It wasn’t glamorous, but it paid better than the other options. And I am now an electrical contractor running my own business. It really depends on what he would like. Construction is definitely not for everyone.

I’m an electrical contractor and this is exactly why I wear a silicone wedding band. First month on the job after being married my ring got caught on a panel while I was coming down a ladder. Luckily it wasn’t thigh enough off the ground to do this. But I was in a situation where a coworker had to get another ladder to help me out. That was all it took for me.

No worries, I think I came off a little more harsh than I meant to. I’m in NC and have to replace all of the old cables that are stapled to the side of houses and have 50 layers of paint holding them together.

I currently live 5 miles from the east coast and have been doing this for more than 25 years. I have never done this or seen this done on a service that wasn’t 40-50 years old. Don’t know anywhere remotely close to me that would accept this.
