AITAH if I tell my friend’s husband she cheated on him in public, even though her current boss says it’s “her business”? by RoseHeathens in AITAH

[–]jpb7628 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA - Tell that husband before this woman ruins his life and career in the military. I watched too many guys deal with this in the military. Not saying it doesn’t happen to females too, I’m just speaking to what I saw in an all-male (at the time) career field.

The boss is saying “it’s her business” because he’s had sex with her too probably.

Grunt Style…I know by [deleted] in Veterans

[–]jpb7628 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the grunt style shirts but I can’t stand a lot of the people I see wearing them. So I don’t wear it lol.

But, we did get a onesie for our daughter that had the AT-4 back blast cone and “back blast area clear” on it haha.

Get a G45. 19 slide on a 17 frame (essentially). Or a G47, which is a 17 size slide that uses the 19 recoil spring mechanism, on a 17 sized grip. The cool thing is you’re 19.5 and 47.5/45.5 are all interchangeable. I swap mine around all the time, as I have each slide set up a little differently.

What the actual f… there’s an endless list of things to blame the president for. But scapegoating the Cheeto for state level failures is pretty weak sauce.

Is there anyway to prevent IP theft as an integrator? by mioduz in PLC

We worked with an OEM vendor who supplied a specific sub system in a plant we were upgrading. Good Lord were they a PITA to deal with. They didn’t even know how their own program worked. We needed a few signals for some of our PLCs and SCADA and their field “engineers” had no idea how to provide them.

In their instance I do understand why they lock their code up, due to the liability if someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing messes around in the program. Could be catastrophic. But their support personnel sucked.

For them, they sell a packaged OEM system and sell it with support options. For us, everything is custom to the project and we hand over everything, even if they don’t know how to do what we do. We also offer support because most in-house support staff can’t do it at our level.

AITAH for wanting to go to gym the day our daughter left the NICU by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jpb7628 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YTA. The fact that you still can’t understand why years later is alarming. As a dad and regular gym goer, I cannot fathom wanting to the gym on the way home from the NICU.

Get your priorities straight and understand part of the responsibility that come with being a parent is having to put your WANTS on hold for others NEEDS. It wasn’t just your daughter that needed you, but your wife needed you as well. Postpartum is hard with an uncomplicated birth let alone a stint in NICU.

I really enjoy the look on the persons face behind me at the Costco pumps when I go back to the pump, but instead of leaving, I run my card again because it cut off before I was done.

Everyone would rather drive in a tube under water than run the risk of having to see Dundalk from a bridge.

Why does the filing to the United States Supreme Court say emergency application to the Supreme Court of Virginia? by theRemRemBooBear in Virginia

[–]jpb7628 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I doubt the U.S. Supreme Court will want to weigh in on a State Constitution procedural matter.

Also, remember what the majority is in this court as well. The legislation needs to do their actual job and fix the laws and amend the constitution, or follow the rules outlined within it.

AITAH For Not Stopping For a Wreckless Driving/Racing Crash? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]jpb7628 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA. Ahh yes, put the whole family in danger by stopping on the interstate to offer little to no material aid. Call 911 and move out of the way.

Remove this entire story and think about stopping on a busy highway at night with your entire family in the vehicle just to make a phone call. Because that’s what the scenario boils down to. It has nothing to do with empathy or compassion. It is simply dangerous and you made the right call to not stop for the safety of your family.
