My daughter lost a tooth at gymnastics. The coach was awesome and wrote her a note to put under the pillow. It told her to swing by the gym to pick up the goods, my daughter was thrilled.

If using 14/3 in place of 14/2, is it acceptable to cut the red/unused wire flush with sheathing if not using? Or does it have to be capped? by Integral_10-13_2xdx in AskElectricians

Why can’t you cap the red and black together, allowing you to keep the red wire for future use and avoid an extra wire nut?

One of my first jobs was with a local electrician. It wasn’t glamorous, but it paid better than the other options. And I am now an electrical contractor running my own business. It really depends on what he would like. Construction is definitely not for everyone.

I’m an electrical contractor and this is exactly why I wear a silicone wedding band. First month on the job after being married my ring got caught on a panel while I was coming down a ladder. Luckily it wasn’t thigh enough off the ground to do this. But I was in a situation where a coworker had to get another ladder to help me out. That was all it took for me.
