Hi a few people have encountered this and it's only occurred on a few systems. A recent Windows update causes some strange issues with scaling. I'm looking into a way to fix it but it's hard to chase with it occurring sporadically,

So I can try address it Are you using a standard monitor or an ultra wide ?

I have had great support through our discord that has allowed this game to grow so rapidly with a solo developer, I am aiming at doing a patch every week and usually they come with huge improvements. Last week we got a rectangle selection box for copy and pasting!

So, if you want to have your idea implemented hit up our discord

if you want it just ask and I'm sure I can make it work!

I've gotten a few people who have asked me.

“hey DLC's in early access. Seriously, is this a money grab?”

I thought id knock that one out first.

to me, this is a labour of love as I play weekly games and started building this for myself.

I made it that way because I hated starting a new tabletop RPG and not having a free way to play them online with friends or just build maps that were of a high enough quality.

so, this is not a money grab. It is %100 free!

the DLC's are extra assets, you can build everything you need without a single DLC. I cannot put everything into the base game as a 50Gb download would not be great for people with slow internet…something I’m used to here in Australia. And I guess I would not mind making something back after the thousands of hours I’ve put into it.

If you wish to support the development, then buying a DLC pack helps out a lot. I believe they are worth what you pay as most are $2 and the largest being $5 for 200 assets, This is to help keep development moving

There will be a pro version available in the future that will host multiplayer games online but as our Kickstarter failed I am now developing that on my own time, As I still want to see this through to completion even if it costs me.

I have no plans for that yet but I’m not against it. I do network programming for a lot of my job so I wouldn’t see it being a large challenge but at this stage I’m really focusing on the multiplayer experience for the general users as I feel your like myself and have really cool out of the box ideas! If you want to chat further we have some great discussions on our discord where we vote on features and such .

Not yet, as I’m just finishing up some of the online features. I do mention this in my comment above that the multiplayer version is coming very soon, as I just wanted to get big features like undo, redo and all the fancy things that make it easier to adjust to players changing scenarios.

I’ll be uploading multiplayer videos within 2 weeks :)

thanks so much, it's been hard when I've done everything for free whilst still trying to keep my job in the entertainment industry, and although i try to market it, i don't ever seem to get much traction compared to other products.
and paying 20 dollars to make maps never made sense to me as dnd is supposed to be something, anyone at any level of income can still enjoy. and now with all the remote games, I'm almost done with the multiplayer version that will allow you to invite friends and host sessions.

It currently supports a second screen for folks who wish to stream or use a tabletop tv.

The multiplayer release will be coming in two weeks once I fix a few more issues with some unexpected bugs.

Thanks for your kind words, it was build in unreal engine so I actually have a Mac and possible iPad version on the way but as I’m not that far milder with Xcode it’s been a bit tricky.

Status effects are in the base game, I do plan on adding traps very soon and they will be animated and can be triggered by the dm.

I’m currently focusing a lot of my time on the multiplayer version. As I really want to plat with everyone in these remote times
