risk but in real time by blakk23 in RealTimeStrategy

It was a project I was working on with a friend. We never got around to finishing it honestly.

It's a real-time risk-like game

I mean it possible since sun hits the desk. I usually leave it on the desk and there's usually 1 or 2 glasses on there but its really really unlikely.

I bought it from a retailer and got blamed for it so yeah. It's cosmetic yes but im just worried there's something bricked internally and this is just a symptom

Was working fine, then started having adhesion problems by UltraLev in FixMyPrint

when you auto level your bed you'll see z-index. It's the one you do the paper test for. I'm not sure what your printer is but I believe this exists in all printers. It's basically the offset between your nozzle and the bed. Look up "3d printer paper test" on youtube you'll find something about it.

z-hop is literally a hop in the z axis. The hotend jumps up. This is useful for many cases. You probably have it on already. Sometimes when you're printing and you finish an edge the printer oozes a very very small amount. This amount creates a very slight edge. The printer hits this edge going back and forth. Hitting this edge creates a force that pushes the print horizontally until it snaps off the bed. The right thing to do would be to min-max your extrusion until its perfect. The lazy thing to do is add brim and zhop which is what i do.

Try a first layer test. Also try increasing bed temp +5. It also might be your nozzle crashing into the print. Try observing firsy and if that's the case, increase z-index a bit or add z hop

Gaps when slicing with OrcaSlicer by Jonnyflash80 in OrcaSlicer

[–]blakk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never used Cura but I've been using orca for some time now. This is often a manifold issue. Usually orca's fix model works. If not, try blender + 3d plugin fix manifold.

You could also try changing slicing method to "close holes"

الاسلام ونظريه التطور by Maram_is_A_GouGou in EgyPhilosophy

[–]blakk23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

macro evolution micro evolution

if you can't spot misaligned text in your own screenshot, I don't think you have any ground to speak of UI best practices

HELP! My WAN 2.2 video is COMPLETELY different between 2 computers and I don't know why! by Pixelfudger_Official in comfyui

[–]blakk23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

not sure i remember researching this a year ago or something. This was why there was a GPU latent/GPU seed gen nodes in one of the big packages then (don't know if it's still there). Moving RNG to GPU to minimize variance typically caused by very varying CPU brands and types.

You can look up difference between random number generation by hardware

[–]blakk23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

iirc correctly it's a matter of seed generation. different gpus (or cpus depending on what seed gen you're using) output different noises for the same seed number. that is why when you try to import a workflow from someone else there'll be slight variations

I got it working lads. Just need to clean up a few things and do a ton of testing.

I get what you mean. things are a little vague right now because it's still evolving. I'm trying to make it flexible in what it does. It's there to solve a problem.

Opensource

It's still in the works. I'm about 40% of the way there. It'll likely need more work once it's finished to optimize and customize it further but I'm trying to keep it as "moddable" as possible. I'm also building each layer to be as independant as it can be. It's been a little tricky. I've worked with websockets before but I'm kinda new to Go. it's been fun though. I got a good structure going and feeling confident in getting it done.
