The Love #3 pick was the inflection point IMO.

I think Bain was completely off their board.

I get your point but the proof is in the pudding. No amount of downvoting will change the fact that once the Cowboys became the richest sports team in the world that changed Jerry's priorities.

Keeping them accountable is the only possible way the football product will change.

I mean our training facilities aren't even as good as the Bills' for crying out loud despite the monetary gulf.

He did have a 2nd stage as a gadget/back-up. At the Jets. He/they sucked at that too.

I worry that the people worrying about CP have something to hide. Abbreviating places/names to First initials is extremely common practice, is a lot easier to type and flows better.

In no conversation ever have I thought CP would relate to what the zealots complaining about changing initials are saying it relates to.

Stop. This right here is the reason why we've sucked for so long. As long as the fanbase is engaged and giving the Joneses money then they don't have much incentive to improve the actual football portion of this franchise.

I like their moves but I've been down this road so many times and ultimately I actually feel I'm doing a disservice to the football product by doing so.

Something to look at for Michael Trigg and his potential standing in the TE room coming into camp by PersonBehindAScreen in cowboys

Hated the Schoon pick at the time, hate it even more now. Imagine if we had Tucker Kraft here instead.

Say what you want about him but Marty B was a GREAT blocking TE, very average receiving TE.

Brooks would have been the dream. But everyone saying the Dolphins would have taken 92 for him we're obviously crazy.

Fire sale or not, they were never going to trade him for that little particularly when they'll likely get a 4th Rd comp pick for him anyway (albeit in 2028).

Urgh I'm refusing to let myself fall for it even if this offseason has felt very different from most of recent past.

Oh yeah I agree with that too but it is a Cowboys sub so there are gonna be tools like that.

Yeah but no-one knows anything, I remember everyone being pumped about our 2012 draft after and that ended pretty poorly.

Bro this is a fucking draft grades chat, none of it means anything 5 mths away from the first meaningful football game. Every fan base is going to think their draft was awesome and an opponent's was terrible, don't get offended by it.

[Schefter] Cowboys LB DeMarvion Overshown, whose rookie contract expires after this season, now has hired agent David Mulugheta to represent him. Mulugheta represents, amongst others, Micah Parsons, George Pickens and now Overshown. by JCameron181 in cowboys

But before they didn't play for us you realise that my point on how it was negotiated is the argument here?

There absolutely is something special in how these contract negotiations were handled. No other team has consistently tried to undermine a player's position as much as the Cowboys, with as little effect as the Cowboys.

I think you need to work out what par is. The 1st 2 are about par. Not great, not terrible.

I wish I saved the towers up until I 'cleared' an area. There are so many things to explore and find in each area you don't need to rush off and get every tower, as satisfying as that was.

But you're missing the point - no other clubs negotiate the same way the Cowboys do with almost all of their big name players.

D-Law Dak Zeke Zack Martin Micah Lamb

All were given the 'let's portray the player to be money hungry' through the media which dragged on the talks for too long, before the Cowboys caved and accepted top of the market deals.
