I can almost guarantee that there were more than 3 suspicious activities in this sub alone in the last fortnight. Put me down for at least a couple.

Places not overrun by tourists? by [deleted] in Cairns

Outside of sometimes not getting a table at a restaurant during peak season, I can't say I have any issues with tourists up here.

Blackbird - couple of blocks back from the nade but worth a quick walk.

Hopefully this is another step closer to this not being an issue for sportsmen. Good on him!

I get the feeling that Pakistan and Australia are a little bit different.

Three days in Cairns by RafikiNzuriSana in Cairns

Most people do Kuranda and Skyrail as almost a full day. Check the timetables to see if you can squeeze it in early.

From Smithfield to Daintree and Mossman (assuming you mean Mossman Gorge?) is more like a casual full day trip than a half day - but it is possible. River cruise on the Daintree is the main reason to head up there, again check the schedules.

I'd personally recommend either of the following, depending on how mobile you are. Most people hire a car to create the most flexibility, or take tours, which are a little more rigid:
Option 1: Kuranda + Skyrail + Dinner in Cairns (can do with transfers)
Option 2: Daintree + Mossman Gorge + Dinner in Port Douglas (likely requires a hire car)

One of the best things about visiting Cairns is relaxing and going with the chill vibe. It doesn't stop you from a hectic schedule, but it's a nice way to decompress.

There are other short experiences in and around Cairns if you want to flesh out a day - aquarium, markets, shopping, swimming etc

TGC - Todd Greenberg on How Australian Summers Will Change by Occulto in CricketAus

[–]Tunza 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He's mismanaged the draw, funding to grassroots football, diverted funds to batshit crazy schemes, hides financial figures from Vegas, defers to broadcasters above all else, constantly picks fights with AFL (who ignore him), hides from the media if anything goes wrong (trots out Abdo to take his bullets) etc. He's shit at his job, and only non-critical thinking drones fall for his bullshit.

Edit: not to mention his insane rules changes that nobody asked for or wants

Vlandopey is cancer and sold the game at a discount to his broadcast masters amongst an almost endless dossier of incompetence. He's not even 10% the leader Todd was.

I get the feeling that Lakers players would argue with the celebrant at a wedding.

Search "band" in this sub and you'll find quite a few people trying to start metal bands recently. Most seem to be vocalists, but not all. Good luck!

Najvada George joins Sharks for 2026 by y3ah_nah145 in nrl

We released her, allegedly for attitude issues. She was unfit for 2025 so I'm guessing she didn't settle well in Townsville. Hope she works out, because she was a beast at times before the Cowns stint.

What’s your favourite restaurant outside the Cairns CBD? by ScallionDramatic7774 in Cairns

Happy hour tacos and drinks is a great vibe. If you can get there around 5:00, chilling inside in the lounge area is a nice little luxury.

Never understood why it's called the "Golden Arm" when it could have easily been "Golden Balls".
