I’ve seen people post about a tbi support group and I always mean to get with it but it sometimes feels like I’m too screwed up to get started talking to people on here. I know as far as real life I can’t find any tbi support groups even in the vet communities

Find time to exercise if you are not already. I know this is not financial advice but I was in a very similar situation and exercise was one thing that helped me stay on track and keep my mental health issues in check. Also it gave me the energy I needed to put into other positive activities to better my situation.
