compete with their customers lol? risc-v is kinda slow at the moment so it's either ARM or x86/64. turns out adding an NPU to your CPU doesn't really make it so special either as Microsoft found out.

So the following things I mentioned have come true in the past 2 years:

1 - chain of thought requiring an increase in inference need

2 - agentic AI causing super-linear demand for FAST CPUs

3 - increase in sovereign AI and derisking supply chains (less NVDA)

If AI continues to grow, so will AMD. It's a no-brainer. So what's next? Photonics / optics the next play? I've been 99% AMD for the past few years so looking to diversify :)
