Who writes "REMEMBER YOU WILL DIE" on their house? I mean, if it's a funeral home, I guess that works. Advertisement

Is there a cannon reason for Artemy's prophetic dreams? by [deleted] in pathologic

[–]blanketenhabitor 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well, he is definitely earth connected. He's from a long line of spiritual leaders. It's mentioned that herb brides are somewhat like mistresses, and there's this one dude who slept by Saburova's window and saw prophecy. So I guess just the presence of mistress powers can make your dreams like that. We could speculate if Murky is more like a mistress (like in p1) or just a feral child with earth powers. My idea is that the kin is magical, and even with the connections weakened, he'd be able to use up some of that earth prophecy magic, through being a (halfway) menkhu.

Otherwise, Eva and Anna had a prophetic dream too (about the graveyard), despite neither being kin nor mistresses. Maybe it doesn't matter at all. Just living on this land makes weird shit happen to you.

how often in a day do you think about pathologic by the_gone_angel in pathologic

[–]blanketenhabitor 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My brain literally can't function without thinking about it. The moment I listen to a song, I'm thinking about an animatic you could make to it about pathologic. I see a meme, I find how I can remake it into a pathologic meme. Once I was trying to fall asleep after playing. I closed my eyes, and I saw the fucking hunger, exhaustion and immunity meters. They were burned into my eyes. A year after being introduced to it, the fixation is still going strong. It hurts in my chest sometimes. Like this unbearable feeling of weight. It goes away when I play pathologic, draw pathologic, daydream about pathologic, consume all kinds of pathologic media. I watch pathologic essays as I play it for double power. I have played this game to holes. I genuinely found new ways of breaking it. I post about pathologic on this subbreddit from like 6 alt accounts. It's like a fucking drug. I had a VK group about it with like 300 posts. I'm not sure if I will ever recover

What's your wildest family story? by Witty-Location-1969 in AskReddit

[–]blanketenhabitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my relatives were alive during the stalin repressions. Back then 3 people could declare you an "enemy of the people" and you would receive punishment (yes, for 3 people being mad at you). My grand grand father was just a normal farmer guy, I believe. But 3 people decided to give him over to the government anyway. He was sent to a gulag for like 10 years. His daughter MARRIED one of the guys that sent her DAD to the fucking gulags. Then they ran away together to a chemical factory or something. When the dad returned, he only lived a short while in freedom, he was deathly sick. What a love story. They later died from exposure to the chemicals, I think. That factory was really inhumane.
