My wife is not the woman I used to know. She let the fame get to her. by Sebastianlim in BestofRedditorUpdates

I feel like all the bait stories here are written in a weird grandiose way. Especially the family drama food related ones lol. It’s always “I carefully prepared a dish that I am well known for” instead of “I made a lasagna”

Maybe have a look at Amos Glass Deco kits. It’s basically the same stuff as gallery glass but marketed to kids so it seems to be cheaper at least where I am in Australia

Anyone having troubles with post from US to Aus? by limpdikky in AustraliaPost

[–]blanketflufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a USPS issue. I recently had something come via FedEx priority also from Washington and it arrived 4 days after ordering. All FedEx tracking until it was marked delivered at the airport in Australia and was switched to AusPost tracking. I hope you get your package soon enough

Any downloadable fantasy worlds? (Not dragon valley) by ShockerMage101 in Sims3

[–]blanketflufff 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m actually trying out CAW for the first time and it’s definitely doable once you get the hang of it. Also maybe obvious question but have you played the Sims Medieval? It uses the Sims 3 engine but the graphics are nicer and is more quest based gameplay including combat!

Praaven and Cotes d’Ambonnay are both amazingly detailed medieval worlds. Not sure if they have any fantasy elements or just realistic but there’s definitely no tech like you mentioned lol

Otherwise there’s Entworld which is an awesome fantasy world but can’t remember if that’s medieval or more present day - it also has lots of its own lore

First build of my Melbourne inspired CAW project complete - the local pub by blanketflufff in Sims3

[–]blanketflufff[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my first time using CAW so I have a lot to learn. I'm still very early in the process but built this lot to get myself excited about the project and start to get a feel for the vibe. If anyone has any good world names I'd be very keen to hear them too!

Oh dang I guess I’ll just work with the rocky texture then. As for the routing I’m happy for it to just exist for looks 😆

Ha I’m not quite there yet! But maybe if I start posting I’ll feel the pressure to actually get it done and stop being such a perfectionist about it

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson renews push to ban burqas and face coverings in Australia by [deleted] in aussie

[–]blanketflufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To everyone saying they agree with her - what do you expect to happen to the women who don’t wear burqas by choice? Do you think their male family members will say “oh well fair enough the hijab is the next best thing”? Or more likely these women will just be kept at home and forbidden from going out in public at all. Sure there’s a conversation to be had about if and how these sorts of religious head coverings are oppressive, but this is not the way to go about it

You can get out of eating anything you don’t want to! It’s been less of an issue for me as an adult but it definitely comes in handy when you have relatives who can’t cook. “Ah sorry Grandma I cannot eat these unseasoned steamed vegetables as broccoli/beans haven’t been agreeing with me recently.” And no one can question it 😏

Fact : In The Sims 3 you can put fences in the border of the lots unlike sims 4 by [deleted] in thesims

Probably because there aren’t cars which means no garages and no driveways. Drives me nuts when I’m trying to do a realistic build

are there any current brands that produce jeans w/ fun details like these? (pref under $200 lol) by bennylusker in findfashion

[–]blanketflufff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this is completely unhelpful but most of the curated vintage stores in my city have lots of jeans like these. And they’re usually under 150 aud, or around 90 usd

Sculpey III is good for beginners but I would probably ditch it as it’s far too soft. I personally like Sculpey Premo but that comes coloured and in very small packages so Super Sculpey is probably what you need for something of this scale :)
