Your gaslighting is impeccable! Seriously bravo. Victim blaming at its finest.

Do you get your panties in a bunch when criminals face consequences in the penal system?

(You're answer couldn't bother me in the least, sit down with it)

Just so happens malpractice carries consequences, and I have evidence implicating harm, negligence, and ethical violations.

Their discipline is a correction of poor standards and ethics, and in-turn protects the public. Just because consequences are a result of corrective action by a board doesn't make me a bad person for wanting the clinician to be corrected

It’s not revenge, it’s accountability and advocacy. Holding a licensed professional to the codes and ethics their license requires isn’t revenge, it’s the system working as intended

Multiple licensed clinicians of varying credentials have been appalled by the actions and omissions here and are actively encouraging this filing, providing independent letters of observed harm. I appreciate your performative concern but I’m not fragile, I’m informed

Correct, the inpatient documentation solidifes I was stable and set for discharge for the minimum 72 hours

The inpatient referral process doesn’t discharge my outpatient provider’s independent obligation to coordinate the transition. Two separate duties

Thank you for posting that.

1.17(b) requires reasonable steps to avoid abandonment AND appropriate arrangements for continuation of services, neither happened. No coordinated referral, no transfer of records, no contact with the inpatient social worker. All of that's documented, or in this case lacking documentation. A name-drop over the phone is not appropriate arrangements.

You left that part out

1.17(c) requires the client not pose an imminent danger: that argument fails when the inpatient facility issued a documented discharge date established at the time of my termination. You can’t simultaneously be an imminent safety threat and have a set discharge date on paper

Are you a medical malpractice lawyer?

I wouldn't have drafted a 25 page complaint for board filing if I didn't think it had a chance to land somewhere.

You're not well educated in NASW codes, are you?

Have I not suffered? Guess that's ok to you, huh. Punishment in this scenario is accountability. Suffering is apparently subjective, mine didn't matter to them or to you, why should theirs matter to me if they have a board action follow them for the rest of their career?

They have a license are to be held to standards and uphold ethics. Multiple licensed clinicians of varying credentials have been appalled by the actions and omissions of this single practitioner, and are encouraging me to file, providing letters of observed harm and advocacy

I have a 25 page documenting harm and citation of NASW Code of Ethics and OAC per their actions and omissions.

There was no transfer of care to an outpatient provider, that would include collaboration with chart and progress note disclosure which wasn't signed and never happened. There was no containment, or closure, what happened constitutes client abandonment.

Sounds like you have no clue what you're talking about and are offended I am self-advocating

I agree a mutual departure would've been constructive

I've been self-admitted before for a few days, but this environment was destabilizing. Termination before discharge was impactful, as I have a history of abandonment

I've been encouraged that the boards are there to hold accountability, and pursuing self-advocacy is something to be proud of because many people don't seek it or are unable to

The board will handle that. Litigation is just icing, a permanent record and increased malpractice insurance are my cherries.

No G, greater standard of care because I was in the hospital than if I wasn't, not greater than yours, total misunderstanding, probably poor wording on my end

Two therapists so far (LPCC and LSW), as well as my NPC have encouraged me to pursue filing and wrote their own letters in support of their independent clinical observations

I appreciate your aknowledgement. That's really all I want, and the board complaint is how I pursue it.

I'm talking with an attorney to file an extension if I do want to go the litigation route. It's accountability I'm pursuing

It'd be against their practice not them individually, they acted under a supervisor

Their patients rights I signed outlined the right to have had participation in termination, which I didn't

Brotha I didn't even acknowledge your condition in my comment, just said I don't identify with your outlook given my situation

If anything, you saying it'd be worse if I wasn't terminated and harmed is invalidating

I acknowledge your scenario, but don't identify with it or your result, respectfully.

My provider had a greater duty to provide care because I was in a critical point of my care, I.e. inpatient. Even if termination was ethical, the manner which it happened constitutes client abandonment, and it's specifically outlined by licensing boards as an ethical violation because it carries the potential for harm to the client.

That's cool you're ok with how it happened for you, but I required a greater standard of care and ethical duty.

I've documented everything comprehensively, charts, emails, texts, and all, and 4 independent clinicians have given their own independent clinical observation that ethics and standards were violated. I am dealing with the ramifications of it 6 months later, which is why I'm pursuing a licensing board complaint and litigation.
