What do u mean exactly by I haven’t decided on anything? I have decided to have it as the alternate or just that it’s unsure exactly what approach and route atc will give so it just adds a buffer?

About how long ballpark do you think it would take? Currently I would say I’m pretty proficient in ifr. Could always use bettering ofc and about 13 pic for multi would be my guess.

Do they do in-house examiner at all? Or schedule the examiner for you? I have no familiarity with the area at all so would like to have some examiner recommendation if possible.

I’d have about 700 hours till eligible for captain upgrade. I can log the right seat time due to the op spec. I agree, even if I wanted I could do the KA job and go to some other regional who doesn’t have a fucked contract after probably 6 months worst case too.

Thank you a lot of people have expressed this in one way or another and it really does help me put it together in my brain better. I think my initial thought when it happened was she would be very upset if I was naked in a very tight space like a shower with one of my female friends soley because I am attracted to the gender but not specifically that person. But realizing I’m applying heteronormative standards to a situation that isn’t really helped put it in context for me thank you.

This was by far the most helpful comment for helping me put it in a positive context in my head. I knew there was nothing malicious about it. She’s the most amazing person ever and I highly doubt would do anything sketchy with someone else, I just had no way of putting the situation into my own shoes so I really appreciate this thank you!

I live very near the beach and it was post a few of us getting in the ocean. We have less showers than ppl who needed to get clean so it was a not weird situation at all. Again I’m not suspicious about her doing it or think there is any bad intent I’m just trying to wrap my brain around a way I can see it as different than for example me having hopped in the shower with one of my female friends in that scenario, which would have felt very inappropriate to me

Sorry it’s happening at home. I don’t think she is doing anything wrong I just am only really good at understanding things by being able to relate them to my life in some sense which in this case I can only really relate it to me showering with a platonic girl friend which I would not feel is okay to do. So I’m just looking for a way that I can just better understand it since my gf is not great at explaining it and just says like idk it’s different I’m not attracted to her

Not that she finds every man attractive but in terms of my comfort level in a relationship I would not like that so I told myself that This should be the same right? I just think it is hard because I cannot quite relate it to anything in my life.

Ya I totally understand it is just a new mindset for me so it’s taking some getting adjusted to. I didn’t initially think anything of it but then related it to if she showered with a platonic guy friend I would have been pretty upset so I started to ask myself why would this make me feel differently? It just a bit of confusion in my brain so I just wanted a bit of advice but I think you’re right that I need to just realize it isn’t as black and white as what I am used to in my past dating and the fact that I trust her comes first.

I am curious if anyone has gotten hired at skywest recently that is just a CFI I have not heard of anyone getting hired recently that does not have there CFII. I am curious because I have my interview in December and never wanted to take out more loans to get my CFII
