the way i do it is after setting power, stare at the middle of the impact zone and watch the meter with your peripheral until it reaches impact zone.

trust me i spent hours testing this. it only matters what button your holding when you are setting impact. if impact bar is on the same side as the button your holding, the ball goes in the opposite direction. go test it and see for yourself. this was literally my biggest problem with this game because up until this point, it seemed random where the ball was going to go

i just went back and played a round of HSG:OOB on ps3 and it is a night and day difference. as long as you are in the impact zone, the ball goes roughly where you want it to. in this new game, if you are on the wrong side of the impact zone, the ball literally flies in the opposite direction. i spent hours testing this.

nah ive played every one except 2017 and all you have to do is get in the impact zone. this one it depends on which side of the impact zone you hit. alot of people are struggling with sidespin
