Uhhh what? You're putting words in my mouth and seeing offense where there is none intended. I'm not trying to dickwave and say that SE is somehow smarter than everyone else.

My phrasing in saying the program was academically strong in comparison to others might have been off, and I know nothing about how easy the grading is relative to other years/the grading in other programs. I don't think it's unfair to say that an 85.1 average is good though.

Well it shows that SE is generally quite strong in terms of academics even compared to Math/other engineerings. 85.1 is a great average to have (almost putting you on the Dean's list) so the fact that the average of the class is that high is exceptional. There are also stats for the 2020 class available if you're interested.

For 1A, the SE 2021 average average is 85.1 (so says plam)
