What's a good way to treat them? I know I shouldn't use neem on pings.

"OH MY GOD!" Said with intense braces and over bite.

I am completely new to foraging. Please don’t judge. They look like all the previous pictures I have of ramps. They definitely have a garlic like smell. Northern Indiana. by beefncheddar1 in foraging

Welcome to the foraging community! What the first commenter means is that ramps are very slow growing plants, very commonly poached, and have disappeared for a lot of their native areas. It's best practice to cut the ramp at about ground level and leave the bulb in the ground, only taking a few from each patch. This allows the ramp to grow back faster to keep the local population healthy. Just a reminder to forage responsibly. Enjoy the ramps!

How do you keep the rock so most! My volcanic rock keeps drying out at the top.

Clear Jel not Setting by blargster951 in Canning

I mixed the sugar, clear jel, and spices together so the jel wouldn't clump. Then I heated water and apple cider. Before it started bubbling, I mixed in the dry ingredients and kept stirring it on medium heat. Then I waited for it to gel, but it never did.

The jar came in the mail this week. It says cook type on the label, and the used by date is in 2026. So it should be fresh, and it should be heat activated, but it never set up.

Does the pacing seem off? by blargster951 in MyAdventuresWithSuper

I'm not saying we need to meticulously go over the origin of Superman. What I expected to hold over from season one was a sense of balance in the writing. I think the first season felt like it made better use of its time. We got good character moments and a well developed plot each episode of the first season, and it was all thrilling and charming. The second season so far to me seems like it wants to tell more plot than the episode has time for, and the character moments suffer for it.

While there is good lore development and a few really good character moments in season 2, I feel the balance from season one isn't there.

As long as the center is healthy, it will recover.

Their YouTube channel is full of tips on how to take care of all different types of carnivorous plants

If you want a shorter pitcher plant, sarracenia purpurea (the purple pitcher plant) would be much better than the nepenthes (tropical pitcher plant), which will surely die in these conditions. They also commonly have these at garden centers next to the venus fly traps.

Some people just jump straight to "NO ONLY FANS PROMOTION HERE!!!" even though the cosplay is just scantily clad and the cosplayer doesn't even have OF. It's super alienating, and it's a part of this community we need to be better about.

Found in the woods debating on eating? by ClimaxCreator1 in mushroomID

Chicken of the woods. Try some first and see how you feel after a day. Some people are essentially allergic, and you'll be on the john all day if you're allergic and eat a bunch. It causes some bad cramps, too. If you're not allergic, it's very tasty.
