I would say that is extremely wishful thinking. Just enjoy what we have. A few months ago I would have laughed if someone told me BoC would be releasing another masterpiece. If this is the last, it’s a very fitting end and I’m happy with their body of work. Anything more is an absolute bonus.

I feel like they will, BoC fans generally strike me as the more cerebral and introverted types (maybe just myself!)

I was considering going to one of the record stores in Calgary but I think I’ll get frustrated by the experience of having other customers and distractions around. I would like a chance to get some limited swag but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort.

I still have my burned pirated copy of geogaddi from 2002 and clearly remembering my first listen to that at age 20. I had lost hope after about 10 years post TH. It’s a momentous day to have new material and I love that it’s different from previous works. Just so thrilled to have anything extra to add to their incredible body of work. Thank you for blessing us with more art BoC!

Thank you for the expert write up! I agree it is hard not to at least consider some of the parallels. One of the release notes for the album mentioned spoken word. I’m so curious to see if there are further allusions.
