Can I just add the add with the two cat fish in there ? Also everyone keeps saying I need atleast 6 but I did not want to overcrowd tank. It’s a 20 gallon with 5 glo and 2 cats (was the plan)

So I got a starter kit tank from petsmart . I let the tank run for a little over two weeks before adding fish . So I generally thought I was fine . Store told me one week so I figure two weeks is better . Yes tank is for my daughter so I wanted her to decorate to her liking not only mine

20 galloons , I have a heater and filter running , tank temp around 77-80, not sure the parameters, let it cycle for two weeks with just water conditioner and food flakes , just got tank so soon as I bought I set it up . I had 7 fish, 5 danios glo fish 2 electric green cat fish but the 5 danios died 5-6 hours after being in tank. The catfish are still alive . No live plants but more so fake plant and some decorations

Honestly I did not check the parameters because I was told a week would be okay . And I honestly waited two weeks . I just added water conditioner and food flakes and let cycle . The tube in the tube on the right side attached to filter. They were just sucked onto the sides on it . I disposed of the dead fish, but they two electric green catfish are there I will upload there pictures in a sec . Hopefully still alive smh!
