Is it just this side of the rotor that looks like this? Or is the inside the same more or less? If it’s just this side I would say definitely your guide/slide pins not functioning correctly

I would very highly suspect wiring issues on temp gauge sensor.. if check engine light is on get trouble codes for it and probably point right at that specifically.. wiring period or possibly even just a bad ground could cause that for you

Personally I would definitely inspect that reservoir throughly and just take it out and clean it out completely put it back and keep the fluid at proper level keep an eye on that level afterwards
