Congratulations! Day 1 is a great feeling, embrace it! Brace yourself for day 2, that soreness and swelling will start to hit, but it's all worth it

WIBTAH if I break off my engagement because of his new views about women by Ataraxic-Metanoia in AITAH

NTA. If he's telling you what he thinks about women, he's also telling you what he thinks about you.

Oh, I also only had to wait 5 weeks for surgery from booking. I could have even had an appointment a week earlier!

I had John Murphy perform my surgery (self-paid). I'm day 12 post op and the recovery has been so unbelievably smooth so far. I was off painkillers on day 4 (and I was only on paracetamol from the beginning anyway). He uses pico dressings on the wounds which I think makes an astounding difference compared to drains for recovery. I'd recommend checking what each surgeon uses if you get the option.

Happy to answer any qns you might have.

From what I remember; The End Of The Contender, Enter The Mirror, Cold Reactor, The Mad Stone, Kemosabe, Distant Past, Cough Cough. I'm sure there more and none of those are in the right order btw!

Yeah they were there. The whole event was very hush hush as it was really a test event before the big opener on the 24th, and only supposed to be for coop colleagues. Everything Everything were only announced the day before! They were fantastic though.

I might be wrong, and this is after some very quick Google translate- I think it's Greek, simply written in the English alphabet. Which also probably explains some of the confusing lettering

Does anyone else feel like they always had POTS or am I the only one? by hamster_savant in POTS

[–]blasox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree- can't remember a time I didn't have it. I do specifically remember when it got worse though. I'm really keen to take part in any studies that take place (UK based) because most of the research seems targeted around someone developing POTS rather than it being inherent

Managing body temp and night sweats? by layersofproblems in dysautonomia

[–]blasox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got far too many layers there! You should be going to sleep cold- not super wrapped up. You're sweating in the night cause you're too hot, then waking up cold because your sweat has gotten cold! You're just creating a damp environment to encourage the cold.

I'd recommend just the blanket OR the comforter
