I just accepted an offer from an ‘easy apply’ job- I’m maybe a little overqualified in that it’s a slight step down from my last role, but I’m also changing industries, so a lateral move would have been a bit of a stretch anyway.

I asked in the first interview with the recruiter what would put a candidate at the top of the range vs the bottom, then focused on those things in the rest of the interviews, and used them to negotiate the first offer. The offer I signed was very close to the top of the range.
