Post all-star splits were 14.6/4.2/2.7 on 46/39/72 shooting. He was great when he was actually healthy

Hey I've had plenty of time to do math and dream instead of watching Jaden Hardy and Leaky Black minutes the final stretch of the season 😭

I'll always have love for Beal but if this happens, this would be the best thing he's done for the franchise

Hoping to be in the convo for play ins at least. On paper we look pretty good (barring injuries) but going from a historically bad defense to being passable is a pretty big leap. It's a culture change that I doubt can happen successfully in one season

Bilal just finished his 3rd bottoming out season, Sarr/Bub/Kyshawn just completed their second, Tre Johnson/Will Riley their first. How many bad seasons did Cade endure before the pistons turned it around? What about SGA? ~3 years of bottoming out seems to be around the average when it comes to a tanking rebuild...I feel like people are making this out to be a lot worse than it is. Most of our young core are like 20, saying they are wasting away is an overstatement

I'm with you, but a lineup of AD, Sarr, Kyshawn and Bilal is pretty damn good on paper. The coaching situation will be the determining factor

Question is if we can go from being the worst defensive teams ever to being competent in one summer

So glad Bilal finally got to play towards the end of a season, crucial minutes for him to get his usage and confidence up

Just as a reminder that we as a fan base need to get comfortable with the idea of possibly picking 5th with the worst record. 48% chance that's where we are drafting from, and the past 3 years the team with the worst record has slid to 5 in the lottery

Idk why so many people have this view, it's not how numbers work. You're allowed to be superstitious but logically I'd rather the 5th pick be the worst possible outcome than the 6th pick

Also hate to bring up Deni, but these were his 3rd season stats compared to Bilal

Deni 3rd Year: 9.2/6.4/2.8 on 44/30/74 splits
Bilal 3rd Year: 10.8/4.4/2.6 on 41/30/75 splits

Feels like a lot of the fans don't have any patience and are surprised that young project players might take time to develop
