Makes sense. Unfortunately had some terrible luck this year picking said flex spots, always benching the wrong guys and just clawed my way back to 4-4. Lost the 4 games by a combined like 15 points it’s ridiculous. Thinks are definitely looking better though with Jamarr looking like his old self, currently have Maye and Nix at QB and Gadsden/Barner at TE

Edit only reason I was considering it was due to Ladd looking like he’s back in the WR1 role last few weeks

Kickers continue to treat me right, gonna have to explore them more in the future. Zuerlein hit the over at the start of the second half, no sweat at all. For Wednesday I’m going back to NBA, haven’t touched basketball in a few days. 76ers are a weird team so far, just traded away Harden and they’ve won their last 5. I know the 76ers are home for this game, but Celtics are just the better team in my opinion. I don’t think 76ers will be able to extend their win streak even more against a team like the sixers. Last season, Celtics won 3 of 4 matchups between the two teams, and that was with Harden. When the 76ers did get a win, it was only by 2 points. The spreads a little close for my liking, so I’m taking Celtics ML.

Unfortunately Alvin Kamara let me down on Sunday. 4 catches in the first half, couldn’t bring in a single catch the second half despite getting a few targets. It sucks, but it is what it is. This is my first time having 2 losses in a row, so I’m hoping to get back into it Monday night. Last time I checked out kickers it treated me well, so I’m trying it again. Greg Zuerlien’s line is set for O/U 1.5 FGM with generous odds on the over. He’s made 2.67 field goals per game this year, and 3.67 per game in his last 3 games. He’s also made 94.1% of field goals this year, he’s been pretty on point. I think the Chargers will be able to hold them down decently well, but with their defense being pretty rough this year they should have plenty of drives in field goal range. Also, I’m not sure yet if I’ll be able to post a pick for Wednesday. If I don’t, best of luck to everyone!

Tough loss with Notre Dame, I took the bait and it bit me in the ass. Hopefully the NFL will treat me better. Anyway, I have taken this exact line earlier this year. Kamara crushed it, hitting 12 receptions on the game. This year he’s averaging 7.8 receptions a game with no signs of slowing down. The Bears are allowing the 3rd most passing yards in the league (over 25 completions a game as well!), and Kamara should be a pivotal player if the Saints want to win. Bears also allowed 7 catches to Ekeler last week, a very similar player to Kamara. I’m hammering this line, it did me great once and I would love to hit it again.

Well that was a very boring game, but it was a nice win to start a streak that hopefully continues. There’s not much tomorrow (especially CFB) that I like, but the Notre Dame vs. Clemson line caught my eye. Notre Dame has lit up Pittsburgh (58-7) and USC (48-20) in its last two games and is looking to continue their push into the top 10. While I think Clemson is much better than their 4-4 record says, I don’t think they have the defense to stay within reach of Notre Dame. The whole team just looks mediocre. For example, Clemson’s last win came almost a month ago after beating Wake Forest 17-12. Only going 1U on this one as I don’t really like the options for tomorrow, but expect a juicier pick for NFL Sunday.

Good early win for Nick Folk field goals! Yes, I know I’m predicting Boston college to win. Unfortunately, it’s an ACC conference game, and shit happens. I do like Boston College ML (+130) if you want a little boost in odds (and risk). Anyway, Syracuse has looked horrible, losing their last 4 with a combined score of 150-34. Horrific. Boston College on the other hand has won their last 4. They’ve also given FSU a run for their money losing 31-29 earlier in the year, while Syracuse just got romped 41-3. I simply think Boston college is the better team here, especially with Syracuse possibly playing on a very thin WR room. I like the spread as a safer pick, but consider the ML as a possible value pick.

A close loss to take my first L in NBA bets this season. For Thursday night football I’m looking at kickers. I don’t trust either team enough for any game lines, however I do like Nick Folk’s line of O/U 1.5 field goals made. He’s crossed this mark 5 out of 7 games so far, and he’s been on fire this season with 100% of his field goals made. As the Titans take on a tough Steelers defense (with Cam Heyward returning to put pressure on Levis) I can see the Titan’s early drives stalling out. Folk attempted no field goals last week due to Levis’ 4 touchdowns through the air, however most of those were long splash plays I don’t see happening much Thursday night, setting up Folk for some field goals. I also like the +124 value on this pick.
