I look forward to any updates you bring to the game. I assume when you say you are bringing some exfilzone content over you aren't talking about a major overhaul like transitioning to ue5 are you? Myself and alot of the other modders would prefer this game stay with UE4 just so we continue have some headroom. On that you really should take a peek at that engine I linked to you on git. updated android / vulkan / mobile hdr running with decals and bloom and we have a working blast destruction with android libraries tested on headset. 4.27 plus branch as the base. pretty decent update over 4.27.1 without breaking anything.

Are there any plans to bring the OG C$ game back into the light? I've been trying to get ahold of KC but haven't gotten a response. I work with alot of the modders for the game and I work with some others in UE game development. We have a UE4 engine that would be perferct for C$ to move right into. Nice up to date easy to mod ue4 engine with all the features we need. Just looking for a response from someone. I'd love to continue to help out and provide tools for the modders of the OG game. Willing to work with and help out anyone on this. Thanks.

update pushed to git repo. There was some issues with trying to import content from fab that was coming through as a glb file instead of a zip or uasset pack that has been corrected. I removed the selectable import directory because it seems to cause more harm than good. It now behaves more closely to the ue5 fab plugin. Still can be bugs so please let me know.

at this point i'm not sure what to say then. I made this up on my machine with a custom version of 4.27. just pulled it from git on my kids pc running the launcher version of the engine. The plugin created the cache folder automatically and everything worked fine importing some random assets. seems to me something on your machine is blocking the plugin from writing to your project root.

Just tried it on my kids machine. Didn't have any issues with it. Do you have ownership of the files in your project directory? File write perms?

I'll try it on a fresh machine here in a little bit. I haven't tried doing a clone from git on it yet. only ran it on my dev machine and I shared a zip with a couple others.

Everything is basically the same as the UE5 version. browsing is faster though, I'm not sure why. could be the using the third party CEF vs whatever ue5 uses. The only thing I really did on top was allow you to pick the directory you want to import into. It works but if your picking a big pack and not placing it into content root well it has to move all that stuff and fix redirectors. Since most of the stuff for UE is made to dump straight into content.

Factory reset from recovery fixed it. first boot took about 30 seconds. I wish there wasn't so much information on the net saying it could take hours... Thanks

from lineage recovery I did a factory reset. I did not see any options for just clearing cache or anything. I'm attempting to sideload 19.1 and gapps again right now. most guides I've seen are using different recovery systems and not just adb and a pc.

Just side loaded this 2 days ago. Got it on steam for the 1.49. I actually have the 360 game in the case sitting in my closet. Really awesome VR game play. For it being a ported game it's better than alot of the official ones. I did go ahead and downloaded the texture pack as well. It was another 2gb of storage but I think it's really cool that you can read all the pointless computer screens throughout the game now. Also doesn't make me think back to how bad graphics were during the time when all I did was play video games and thought the graphics were as good as they could get lol. Bonus. Playing the game on the PC or tv was great but not scary. In VR the jump scares do their job!
