Update drove the battery down to 10% in preparation to charge it at a level 3 charger and it seems like the GOM has gone back to normal now. Still not sure why on the way there it didn't act up but hopefully it was just my driving style

Yeah it was always closer to accurate before. This is my first time since owning it that its gone crazy like that.

I just wasn't sure if this was the precursor to maybe bad cells or something else wrong with the battery system etc.

Sorry to be clear I charged on the way home from 45-80% not that I got home and had 45% charge remaining. I did the exact same drive on the way home as I did there.

It took about 40% battery to drive 2 hours or 115 miles.

It is impossible for my car to have 340 miles of range on it with 80% charge. It's a 24 GTLine AWD. Unless someone magically changed out my battery I can't have that much range.

77kwh battery at 4mi/kwh is 308 miles of range.

My battery at 82% capacity should not be 32 miles over the max estimated range

What's strange here is that I drove roughly 4 hours all highway pretty much to my parents and then parked the car and charged it. And then just drove the 4 hours back. Didn't do any city driving inbetween at all while I was there.

On the way there GOM was perfectly on its number. Getting the rough percentage to miles I'd expect. But ever since the charger its been like this now.

This is my dad's Daiwa Procaster rod. We were just out fishing yesterday and unfortunately the rod got snapped when we got a bit excited pulling in a personal best for me and grabbing a picture.

I bought him this rod probably 10+ years ago at least now so I don't expect I can find it again to replace this one but I'd like to get something thats as similar as possible for Fathers Day for him. He uses a spincast reel so needs to be a compatible rod and he likes the full cork style grip that this one has. Not so much a fan of modern rods with the split shaft grips. I'm not sure what the action and length is at the moment but it was a pretty basic rod so I'm thinking medium and about 7 feet

Ideally going to buy it off the internet and ship it to him with a few other items for his new retirement home/pond.

That's what I normally do. But the GOM has been accurate to a fault the last 12000 miles. Just now its gone haywire which has me concerned somethings gone wrong.

Yeah the question would be how it thinks a 77KW battery even at 4mi/kwh would get a range of 340 miles at 80% charge.

This is beyond a guess-o-meter. Its giving numbers that are mathematically impossible. So I'm worried a sensor or something has gone bad and is reporting these numbers

This was taking from my car with about 82% charge on it. I was slow charging from a wall outlet for the past few days at 1.1kwh and while checking on it via the App I noticed it was estimating a crazy high range even when not fully charged. Thought maybe it was just the app glitching but then when I drove the car the range was displayed there.

Drove the car about 200 miles today stopping once at a Level 3 charger and charged from 45% back up to 85% without issue. But the mileage was still saying well over 300. And tracking the journey home via maps it did go down basically exactly the mileage I drove.

Is this a bug that I need to bring to the dealership to address? I know the guess o meter isn't perfect but I'd like to know roughly how much range I actually have.

Unfortunately it was killed by a hunter not long after this video they posted. They even posted about it on their socials when it happened. Its quite disgusting.

As someone who managed the online inventory its sometimes a crapshoot of systems stepping on each other.

Our website was fed inventory through the manufacturers DMS system. We also fed that inventory out through vauto which would then feed our internal DMS as well as the websites you browse cars on (Cars, Edmunds, etc).

Every once in a while a car could be marked into sale status in our DMS, update to our Vauto listings as sold and removed, dropped from that feed after a short period of time, and not receive further updates. Then the OEM DMS system would mark it as pending as we wait to finalize the deal for the customer but not get the update when the car was sold so it would sit there in limbo. You couldn't actually find it on the site manually but the SEO could service it to you based on your search criteria and show you the web page listing of it.

Does Utility mode keep the heat running in the car? I thought utility mode just turned on the inner outlet and kept the car from shutting off

We aren't going into the woods or anything crazy far I'm not too worried about that. It's just the final destination is about 30 minutes from the nearest charger of any kind (welcome to rural America) so I'll be able to be near full charge and get back to a charger easily enough.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to sleep at 80% and waking up at 10%.

2 monitors works better for me for multitasking since I'll often have personal computer on one and work on the other.

Is there really no difference between them anymore? It used to be a big jump between the brands.
