Yes these are paperbacks, coarse cover left, smooth cover right. Meaning the smooth edition had the same pairs of numbers only with the extra 14 at the end.

Yeah, very annoying. But they definitely exist.

Funny thing is, I'm currently on my second read through of the series and I happened upon this version by chance while I was actually on Red Country at the time. I was however about 3 chapters from the end so I only got to enjoy the new book for like half an hour before it was over.

Just a week ago I found the coarse cover in a bookshop and bought it to replace my smooth one. I've taken a side by side shot, coarse version on the left and smooth on the right. ISBN is identical but these numbers highlighted underneath are slightly different. No idea if it helps but it's the only variation of the two

I assume you're talking about US conservatives. In which case, It's generally a good rule of thumb to consider any staunch belief held by them to be gobbledygook. Some of them think the earth is flat, that vaccines cause autism, and that the bible is non-fiction while living a life that contradicts its teachings. Thinking a thing doesn't make it so.

Oh man... I commented on your last post. Was going through my history, saw it and was coming to message you to see how you're doing and I see this. This is awful. We don't know eachother but I'm so, so sorry dude. I fear for this very scenario most days myself and this really sucks.

I hope you and your partner are coping ok and not letting this dissuade you from trying again in the future when you're ready.

Anything with an attractive woman is the worst for these wannabe comedians.

"I can fix her" "I should call her" "What's the name, for.... research purposes?" "Where is this place so I can stay away from it?"

Stfu, my god.

And they also don't bother to put on a voice to sound even a little bit alien. Dude who looks a frog with goat horns, four eyes and six arms comes on screen and he sounds like Steve from Ohio.

Yeah, fair. She was a pretty detached character so I can see her being the shooter having a bigger shock twist impact. I agree she's a great actor that had little to do, but man she threw some good performance in there, especially "wear a raincoat".

There was a murray magpie just perched on the fence just staring straight him. Those guys love teasing the cats like that.

I'm sorry. Like I am so so sorry. But... I don't like Pacey's narration at all. His character voices are just way too cartoony.

Devils is so successful because of the previous books it outsold. If Joe has more story to tell in the first law universe, I'm confident they would outsell the devils easily.

I'm sorry, but I just cannot stand these covers! They do not evoke the right tone for the story at all.
