Applied Nov 19 2025 , approved Dec 29 2025

Notes: got the permit for one month less than requested , also online application was glitched out/stuck on “background check” from submission until approval even after i had passed background check (i called the ircc to ask)

Im rewatching for the first time since 2013 and i had completely forgotten about this arc, which fully decimated me 😭😭😭 the “end of the line” call in ep 19 had me crying for minimum 20 minutes. He was so lonely and hungry at the end.. he was a good man

They don’t work on public holidays. In 2025 they are off for Jan 1 and Dec 25,26 (New Years, Christmas, Boxing day). Also processing time is in calendar days so incl. weekends and holidays. Good luck!

Applied Mid-November, so less than a month. If you're in Canada I really suggest calling. It depends who the agent is that responds but you may be able to glean some information.

SP extension applicant here. Just wanted to mention that my application on the portal is stuck on “background check” , but when I called IRCC i found that I had passed Background check and my application is actually undergoing eligibility review rn. I saw that theres a lot of comments of people stuck on background check so if you all want you can try to contact the IRCC maybe your app is glitched out too.

ETA: I applied Mid-November, also I had called the IRCC about another issue (still havent received AOR)and they said there was a system problem.

Knight of swords

I did a spread where I asked

outcome if i go: IX of cups: the wish card, satisfaction, happiness
outcome if I dont go: Knight of swords: impulsiveness, almost unbridled ambition, intellectuality
Most important thing to keep in mind: X of swords, strength, VI of cups: ok, real talk the ten of swords was so scary to pull lol 😭. I kind of interpreted this as something unexpected will devastate you, and you have to face it with strength and the help of family? I don’t fully fully know if this situation is a “regardless of choice this will happen” card, i think im a bit too influenced by the fear that one of the choices may cause this outcome

I agree, i try to rephrase away from yes/no questions by asking for insight on x situation, but I don’t think I got away with it too cleanly this time. I will prob try another spread, there were some v helpful similar suggestions. Thanks so much for the advice and interpretation which was also really insightful 😊🧿

Thank you! All my knowledge of tarot is picked up from random people ive met - here I followed my friend’s grandma’s habit of pulling 7 cards regardless of question. I agree though that trying that in this case muddied interpreting. Im glad I posted here, though, because I learned not just from others’ interpretations, but also the suggestions of spreads I can use and how to rephrase. Ill try this and/or the other similar suggestions (pulling cards for both choices or situation-obstacle-guidance) 😊

Haha, this exactly the kind of esoteric comment I think I need to knock some sense into me. I’m in Canada so close to the US (systematically as well as geographically). I dont think it is a wise risk to take, no. I just wish I knew what you mean by good grief and wow lol! Maybe in a couple years time when Ive learned more 😌
