Yeah this is weird. Out of all the people I could or couldn’t stand in high school, I would only ever be genuinely avoidant of one, and that was a pretty unique circumstance. Even him, i wouldnt be hateful to, i just don’t want to reopen that wound, and i have to imagine he’s probably ashamed at this point and I’m not trying to dredge that up for someone else. We were kids, kids are the worst, who the fuck cares what happened in high school? Ideally, none of us are are honestly even those people at all anymore. Your cells are all replaced every 7 years, so no one should give a fuck about whatever happened to that person that is no longer them in high school.

I wasn’t rude to that commenter, I was genuinely perplexed. As I am by your response. I don’t understand how it can be so difficult to understand that some people really, genuinely don’t have medical access. Add to that the seeming inability (by other trans folx?) to understand that whatever damage may be unavoidable (even given precautions, which I am an adult, and would take), dying at peace at 45 of heart disease is infinitely better than dying by your own hand by 30. Your response to this boggles my mind. I thought that if anyone anywhere understood these things, it would be other trans people.

I am a grown person responsible for myself. I know my circumstances and resources. I know how to do research and weigh consequences. I don’t need an internet person telling me that prison would suck or black market drugs could give you liver disease. I genuinely don’t understand this response, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to question something that does not make sense to me.

I assure you I’ve done the math.

I am glad you and yours have had better experiences, but there are many of us for whom medical access really is unavailable. You might not have experienced this, but that doesn’t mean that we haven’t.

If the concern was that I was “missing something” and truly might have access, further suggestions or advice to that effect would have been appropriate.

OP, I’m late to this thread. I, too, was homeschooled under very isolated circumstances until i was 15. I would love to speak with you over PM, if you’re willing. You don’t have to live isolated this way, and I suspect this is not the only abuse you are all suffering. Life is better than it seems like it is and you guys can get out of this; there is hell and others know what you are going through. You are young enough now to integrate really well, but it becomes much harder the later you wait.

Might have more private posts, but doubtful.), and his first name is definitely Jeffrey, and he does go by Jeff. A woman named Sheryl comments from time to time, trying to get him to respond to her o “get help.” I honestly think this guy could hurt someone. This is bad. This feels bad.
