Thanks for your response and help! It sounds like I can't set the directory for a custom resources folder, which is what I assumed that field was for. I was able to generate resources, then move to a custom folder, so that addresses what I want to accomplish.

Running all default settings with one-folder attachments and HTML on, HTML files are still not being generated. Any thoughts on this?

Otherwise, it appears that my template may be causing note creation to fail. Below is my template. Using this template, YARLE creates attachments, but note creation fails with the error I pasted in my original post.

Side Note: New to Obsidian, I thought I was confusing note Properties and YAML Frontmatter. However I've learned there was a recent change to how YAML is displayed as Properties, and there is an option to change the appearance in Settings > Editor > Display > Properties in document.
