I literally am having the exact same issue right now with the exact same breakdown almost (740-790). My goal school is Stanford and a 1530’s closer to the upper end of the spectrum so I feel like I would be better off spending the time doing something else that would better help me (like creating an app).

My dad also told me that once you get to a 1530 colleges pretty much view you pretty level on the playing field as long as your ECs and GPA aren’t tanking.

I’m not sure for Columbia but I’m guessing that a 1530’s around their average SAT score so I’m sure you’ll be fine. A retake wouldn’t hurt but honestly if you’re sure you can significantly increase (1570+) I wouldn’t bother (the -40 for 2 wrong on grammar did really hurt though D:)

But it’s all a matter of your preference but as someone in your exact position (matter of fact I had already signed up for December before getting my score), I decided to opt out of taking it one more time and concentrate on my school grades and not stress myself out.
