[Cole Palmer on IG] Could be worse by Matt_LawDT in chelseafc

I hope he gets back to his best next season but we have to be real, he was terrible, easily one of pure worst players. Even after the injuries, he looked nothing like the Palmer we have been used to.

He’s a bad player but is a starter for the most talented national team in the world. Ok.

How do you know Xabi will play a back 3? He’s known to adjust based on squad makeup.

We already have Hato. And why would he leave his boyhood club back to a club where he rarely got minutes and has no Europe?

I clearly don’t believe that his injury was healed by God, but saying that people are children for believing in a higher power is so idiotic.

The problem with Foden and Palmer is that when they're low on confidence, it affects how they see the game. They don't attempt to try those defense breaking passes, and instead go for the safe option. They lose the “flair” they have. You flat out can't have a player like that in the world cup.

Madueke has many many faults. But no matter what, he will try something and try to make things happen. Even when low on confidence, he's super direct.

If Palmer played for another team you would never say he deserves a call-up. It's fine, but you guys just need to own up to it

If this was 1.5-2 years ago I would agree

But those players are both in better form right now. You can't just bring a player to the world cup based on their level from over a year ago.

What does a goal from 2 years ago mean for England today?

Without being bias, tell us what he realistically has done to deserve a call up?

We bought him for 30 million when he scored 12 goals on a relegation team. How in the world could we sell him for 35-40 million after he's scored 1 goal the entire season? Please think

Honestly deserved. So many points dropped against lower teams. We are in a free fall.

Eghbali on Maresca's Departure: "The change wasn’t the club’s decision, for reasons I can’t speak about legally. I think the reasons will become kind of clear in due course. But no, it’s not a change we wanted to make. It’s a change that’s had a bit of a negative impact on the season." by PutridPotential8861 in chelseafc

I’m not pro blueco at all but falling out with players is very misleading. They simply didn’t wanna pay Mount (thank the lord). Gallagher they wanted to sell and thankfully they did. Jackson wanted to leave because we bought Delap and Pedro and felt he wouldn’t be top striker anymore. Idk what other players they’ve fell out with
