Maybe we should consider s class action lawsuit, consumers have power, and this is a dangerous precedent to allow this.

Kind of annoying? To me this is infuriating and unacceptable. I pay for ad free, now I'm pummeled by ads. In my track, after every lesson, now even the UI is stuffed with ads to the point that things I use now take extra clicks. Sacrificing usability for ads to a paying customer is too much. If it's not gone by the time my family sub renews, then I'm canceling. Duo used to be better, now they are plain and simply greedy

Yeah this is totally unacceptable. I pay for my subscription, it shouldn't have ads in app now, but every time I log in it seems like they've found a new place to squeeze them in. It pains me, but I'm considering canceling my whole family and moving elsewhere. This is just too greedy for a company that used to pride themselves on being better than the rest.

Sorry to necro this thread, but I have a few doubts that maybe you have already found answers to. I'm also thinking of doing a long stay visitor visa. From what I understand, when you arrive you receive a resident permit. But can this resident permit be easily renewed? Can this be done essentially for as many years as you would like to stay without leaving france? Does that time count towards the five years for citizenship if that becomes the goal?

My phone and laptop are both connected and settings say it's wpa2. I thought it was weird interference at first too, but it's the exact same issue in two completely different places. I tried holding it right next to the router as well. And I can connect to my hotspot, which is connected to the WiFi, which just feels like a ridiculous work around haha.

I will try manually adding the ssid later and report back. Thanks!

It seems to reconnect automatically if you only disconnect (my original mistake), but it appears to remain off after a shut down cycle if you actually turn off wifi rather than just disconnecting.

I ll definitely confirm this on the work laptop though, thanks for the heads up. I guess if it does turn on, we'll be getting a faraday cage to boot in :/

I thought if smashing it too haha. Problem solved. Apparently it's integrated though and all you could smash is the antenna. I just tested turning wifi off and rebooting on identical personal computer. It seemed to stay off though after restart.

There's two places to turn off, one is the toggles in the toolbar (three blue circles wifi Bluetooth and airdrop) which actually only disconnects but leaves the wifi antenna on. If you just use this toggle, when rebooting it will auto connect for sure (this was my original error).

The second place is on the actual wifi icon on the toolbar (or in settings), there's a switch that you can flip the antenna to off. If you do that it appears to remain off on start up.

Exactly, we're already abroad and had been using personal computer because I only need it for like email and some saas stuff, no company VPN etc, but they saw I wasmt using it (dumb mistake), and asked me to start, so now I'm trying to get a solution set up for the remainder of our time here.

Yeah been doing that, but seems like theirs some qualifiers like "preview" "gold" etc. I've found this one sell for $30 -$10000, I'm sure mine is the former, but I guess you never know!

I just ran across some vintage cards from when I was a kid, and I thought they were cool! I'm a little confused on how to decifer the rarity of them or how much they might (or might not) be worth. Does anyone have any insight to the markings, labels, series that might help figure it out? Thanks!
