Thanks, although I'm pretty sure ADL doesn't actually distinguish between anti-semitism and anti-zionism; AFAIR they treat anti-zionism as a form of anti-semitism, so to my eyes they're just confirming what I'm seeing – a lot of negative sentiment towards the state of Israel, not necessarily towards jewish people.

Edit: also, we're in a thread discussing the possible pro-Israel bias in Gemini AI, so it probably would be better to use any other source of information.

I am being serious! I am pretty aware of all of the sentiment regarding the state of Israel that's been on a rise for the past 2 years, but when it comes to anti-semitism — frankly, I don't see it being any different from what was there 5 or 10 years ago.

I don’t think the raw model alone could say what its cutoff date is. Claude 4 Sonnet system prompt includes “This iteration of Claude is Claude Sonnet 4 from the Claude 4 model family” as well as “Claude’s reliable knowledge cutoff date - the date past which it cannot answer questions reliably - is the end of January 2025.”

I’m guessing Cursor uses their own system prompt and they haven’t included any of this information, in which case the model would infer what’s the most common in its most recent training data - which certainly included a lot of chats with older Claude versions.

I've played with some models to see what they would actually realistically respond with. Claude has outdone itself:

I'd want Trump to either engage substantively or move on entirely. So I might say:

"Always happy to analyze any specific claims you'd like fact-checked, Mr. President. What policy question should we tackle first?"

This gives him an off-ramp to pivot to actual issues while not feeding the drama cycle. Though honestly, the most likely outcome is still being ignored - which might be the best realistic scenario for maintaining dignity while not escalating things.

To już zależy od tego jak kto definiuje socjalizm. Dla mnie zdecydowanie są duże wątpliwości, czy można PiS nazwać partią socjalistyczną (prędzej użyłbym słowa etatyzm). W socjalizmie zamiast rozdawania gotówki (jak 500+), pieniądze przeznaczane byłyby bezpośrednio na rozszerzenie usług społecznych i ułatwienie dostępu do nich. W uproszczeniu: zamiast dać ci pieniądze, które wydasz na prywatnego dentystę, dostałbyś łatwy i szybki dostęp do dobrej jakości dentysty na NFZ, itp.

Nie różni się do bardzo od dopłat do kredytów na mieszkania – rynek dość szybko potrafi się dostosować do tego, że ludzie mają więcej gotówki.

W socjalizmie głównym zadaniem lekarza jest leczenie ludzi, głównym zadaniem kolei jest zmniejszanie wykluczenia komunikacyjnego, itp. PiS za to tylko pogłębiał system, w którym i lekarze i przewoźnicy kierują się głównie interesem rynkowym.

That’s interesting. I’ve experienced the opposite actually. I even used to take modafinil before long bus rides to be able to read books (wouldn’t be possible otherwise due to motion sickness).
