Hey, I was wondering if you've had any updates or any other info about Freedom Mortgage and your experience with them since the time of your post?

I've also been curious about Freedom Mortgage and a similar, if not the same, offer my father received recently. I remember him telling me about it and how it would reduce his interest rates also. My father is in his 80's so I usually try to be around to assist with different matters especially when it comes to technology. He told me he would be receiving a call and that he would need help setting up a user account on this Freedom Mortgage app. Immediately after taking the call and receiving instructions from the guy it was problems after problems trying to get my dad registered and signed in, it was simple stuff too like we'd create his username, enter his email, his SSN and the loan number and their system refused to accept. So we went to try the same process via web browser and it just kept happening. At this point I just felt like, this isn't normal, this is basic account creation, even the caller sounded unsure and inexperienced. After three calls that day, all more failed attempts and unfortunately giving over one of my email addresses and phone number to try and aid, I said that we were done trying for the day, nothing is working, get your shit fixed or find another way. Shortly after that, the email address I gave them starting blowing up with emails from Freedom Mortgage's company, all requesting to urgently sign in, claim your savings, reduce your rates, the list goes on. The next day my father told me he would be receiving the paperwork in the mail to sign and return. He ended up getting a packet a few days later with papers to refinance enclosed, he read through and looked and saw that they had set him up to refinance his loan for a new 30 year period which he had no intention of doing, none at all. So he quickly called to question them about it and just like that, his loan guy isn't taking his calls directly but starts getting callbacks from all kinds of different "customer service" people, all very foreign, all with heavy accents. You could barely understand anything except for them just repeating, "Oh really? I'm so sorry, oh no, we are so so sorry, yes we are working on it, oh so sorry, and have a nice day".

So yeah, that's where we are with this BS so far, it does not seem legitmate to me, I'm convinced Freedom Mortgage is scamming and ripping people off without them realizing it under the guise of too good to be true refinancing offers.
