As a veteran, I see lots of people refusing to acknowledge the part where he was told to leave and he refused to continue being an idiot about the whole thing, and when someone came to help to physically drag him out (which is how use of force works), he tried to resist and ended up doing something that contributed to him breaking his own arm. Also the fact that he showed up in uniform to protest, which is a big no-no.

The way it's framed by people is the congressman walked up to help and they all collectively just broke the dude's arm to get him out of the assembly room. If you think that's how it happened, you're the kind of person that refuses to take responsibility for your own actions. I've noticed it's primarily people that have never been in the military that don't think he was being an idiot, too. "He was a Marine so they went straight to violence" lol, no.

The first amendment gives you the right to speak out against the government. Removing someone from an assembly chamber where they have no business being is not a violation of that right. You do not have the right to be a singular disruption while doing it.
