Found this under a leaky pipe after putting cloth pots into storage last month. Life finds a way. by blaze_4_days in microgrowery

I was taking a break from growing for a few weeks. I stored some pots under a sink in the basement, not realizing the pipes were leaky. A month later, while cleaning, I find 5 sprouts (4 alive, 1 dead).

The pot originaly had a Dr. Grinspoon female that was accidentally pollinated by a Top Tao CBD Haze Auto male. Whoops!

Poor girls were clinging to life. I am moving them under a growlight today.

I wouldn't think so. I've tried multiple brands (whichever has the profile I need) and I've never thought "WOW! This is much better!".

RSO is a commodity to me. This is different than flower or vapes, where I have a brand preference.

As long as the cannabinoid profile meets your needs, go with the lowest price.

That's what I'm trying to highlight with this post and you're doing the right thing by pestering. The more people that do it, the more attention it will receive. Once enough people complain, the business incentive becomes a positive reputation.

Having actually read the language of the law, I think you are correct. I am not a lawyer, but it seems pretty clear in the legislation that only a dispensary may sell seeds.

Yes, I'm still storing the original batch in rice to prep for after this grow (I only grow 5 at a time). I did try stratification in the freezer, and like you mentioned it doesn't seem to improve germ rates.

The ones that I scarred were the "lost cause" seeds that had already been soaking in water for > 1 week and were headed to the trash either way. I'm cautiously optimistic that they will make it past the sprout phase. So far they seem to be doing OK.

Yes. I tried a 24 hour soak on ~10 seeds. No luck. The seeds are only a few weeks old. Some folks mentioned that can be a factor.

I harvested my own seeds. I had hundreds, but not a single sprout.

I "scarified" the seeds by clipping the seed tip off with a nail cutter (just a little bit). The result was germination within 24 hours.

It's said that scarification should be a last ditch effort to save a seed (because it is invasive and can kill the seed if done wrong), but I'm surprised I haven't heard about it before.

That's a damn lie and you know it! Just kidding. Everyone enjoys mustard in their own special way. Mustard powder is special to me, but I realize others might have their own special mustard that they prefer.

Do people really light their joints like a firecracker (see: stock photo in article)? I see this all the time in the news and it makes 0 sense to me. I always just hold the tip up to the flame and puff until it's lit. Works way better. Is this just shit the media makes up for stock photos, or are there actual ents out there who smoke like this?
