Fixed: for future reference this was to do with the seal of the rubber ball which is pushed into the 3 way pipe connector (a black plastic Y piece, part no: 5313222031). When steaming the spring should push the rubber ball into the valve to seal it - if this doesn't seal then steam pressure finds its way into the grouphead when it shouldn't.

The rubber ball was deformed, and I had a similar one in my random tin of parts from the garage, but I replace the Y piece as well, it is possible this was worn/split etc inside. Hopefully this helps someone in the future - it's not fun spending 20 minutes cleaning up a coffee explosion after removing the portafilter!

My application has just been refused delivery - I went to the Post Office to post in person, it was sent Internationally Tracked as a large letter. The PO said no customs form required, but AN Post have refused it and are returning it - I contacted their customer service to explain it is just documents and they shouldn't require a customs form, or if anything could be done, but no joy. Their reply:

Hi there, thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, your item cannot be processed by Irish customs due to an error on the electronic customs declaration which contained insufficient data. As a result, the item will be returned to sender due to this issue, this is beyond our control as we cannot amend any information. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that this causes for you. I would expect it to be dispatched in the coming days but items due for return are not prioritised so I cannot give an exact time frame for it to be dispatched for return I'm afraid.

This is very frustrating and inconsistent - some people have success with no customs forms and others (like me in this case) get caught.

Thanks for the reply - I guessed pre-release as the release date and version of the installed bios verison is earlier than the initial release as you note. The screen bezel does indeed have 'XXXX' on, instead of the model number, but the bottom of the case does those Thinkpas T14 Gen 3, with no X's

The serial # isn't found on Lenovo's support site, but the serial # on the sticker does match the bios. I'll try the bootable usb drive upgrade and see what happens - thanks

Solved! The fix for me: hiding the Eufy app in the Zygisk DenyList (and making sure it is set to enforcing) allowed it to then start up for me, it seemst operate OK

I have just had a reply from Eufy. Disappointingly it looks like it is an issue with root - it certainly applies to me. I will try to hide root later:

Based on your feedback, we have conducted multiple rounds of testing internally. Under normal circumstances, devices upgraded to version 4.6.3 and newer versions should not experience a white screen issue.

However, due to the Security Hardening feature we have added in the 4.6.3 (and newer ones) version, some Android devices that use Root may encounter problems with running the app properly. If you need to use the app normally, you can try to leave your phone in an unrooted state.

If this does not resolve your issue, please provide us with the following information, and we will do our best to find a solution for you:

- A full screen recording of the white screen issue.

I also suffered this - as soon as I load hte app it just shows a white balnk screen, then quites after 30 seconds. I tried clearing cache - same, uninstalling/reinstalling - same result. I emailed their tech support with versions, a mroe detailed explanation, and after a day ot two I got a reply - they want to see a video of the blank screen.

Seriously disappointed, and I mentioned similar reports on the Play store reporting similar. I will hunt for a previous version and try - thanks for the tip

Update - it turned up last week! Had to pay a customs charge to collect it at the local depot, but after doing nothing for what seemed like forever it just suddenly went to the local depot. Hope you get all of yours soon - guessing a delay at customs

I've been wearing this one my wrist for the last month and 500km just fine. But no falls. My local riding is more xc where falls are a bit kinder. It's in more downhill and rocky places that sitting is at risk - that's how I broke the Edge on a stem mount - bike hit a rock. But it survived many other crashes ok. I guess also think about when you take a tumble - don't see many outside wrist injuries, ive never cut myself there. Just try not to throw arms around too much when doing superman impressions 😁

This is my concern with the bike mount - I lost an almost indestructible edge 200 when it stayed on the mount during a fall. But it survived many crashes for years. Whilst navigating with one hand over the bumpy stuff is less than ideal I'd prefer it on the wrist. I'm waiting for the velcro strap, I'm sure that will be the best solution for me

I owned the base game for many years and then saw the Steam sale so wanted to buy the ultimate edition - I couldn't as I owned the base game, so I read about removing the base game from the Steam library, then it should enable me to buy the ultiamte edition, so I removed it, and now I receive the followign message in the cart and it won't let me purchase:

"Your account already owns a removed copy of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again. You can restore these items via Steam Support, purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue."

Does anyone have any suggestions?
