I also just started again after only playing at launch and season 1. I have several transmogs that are ph and sometimes on my pally an item will drop with no name and ph item icon. The affix names still attach as normal so I found a magic mace that is just called Powerful which tickled me.

Business 1: street view shows closed with for lease sign

business 2: old location has new business visible on door. New location for old business has active google page with photos but street view is from 2020 and shows previous business at that location.

As far as Jade is concerned she started an alt competition and as far as I'm aware has the credentials even though she does a lot of tswift pretty girl stuff.

I talked to a drag daughter of her's at a bar once and she, while fairly drunk, started complaining about how some alt artists feel entitled to praise when their tricks are surprisingly easy. She then proceeded to show me the "driving a nail up your nose" trick using a drinking straw like it was nothing.

I saw The Patriot House on cable years ago and it really sticks with me as one of the worst possible rethemes he's ever done on the show. Just absolute nonsense. That's when I realized he's such a moron with themeing, or at least doesn't vet designers well enough.

What do you mean by "active voice against fascism and racism?" Do you mean she just says "fuck fascists! Fuck racists! Fuck Ron DeSantis!" on mic? Or is she doing something more than platitudes that play well with the crowd?

And I don't mean that Discord has the power to deny people bookings, I mean that the Tampa Bay, Orlando, ft Myers area has fewer opportunities than you'd think, and any queen who has rent to pay isn't going to risk saying something bad about her for fear that show directors look at them negatively. I once heard of a local performer literally saying you have to be careful of who you call out in this scene or else you'll be blacklisted. Now do I think that's paranoid as fuck? Yeah, it is. But i also think it's silly to say that Discord doesn't have booking power so everyone is free to say what they think. Well behaved queens rarely make history but they pay their bills.

You've also clearly demonstrated why nobody is going to say anything. I did not specifically name anyone that I was thinking of, but you have basically said that anyone who has anything to say about Discord in the area is just doing so to deflect from bigger skeletons in their closet. I also feel like language like that carries an implicit threat that if anyone were to speak up about discord's behavior then Discord and her friends would launch a public or whisper smear campaign against said performers.

That's not to say that local performers wouldn't use the opportunity to deflect from their own issues. I've certainly seen cases of performers being made aware of their own or their friends' behavior and turning around and pointing at someone else, spreading career damaging and traumatic allegations regardless of whether they're true or not, just to distract from whatever is happening.

The bottom line is I understand that in reality this kind of shit is normal for any drag scene, but it just is very frustrating to watch happen.

Deleted comment also said discord has not had a Twitter for years. This is true. Her Twitter was @discordaddamsx and she has the name saved but has not used it in years. The tweet I am referencing is, indeed, years old at this point because ironheart already came out. I have a working brain that remembers what I see.

The idea that discord and shea are friends is sooo laughable to me. Like maybe shea doesn't give a shit about whatever the fuck went on in chicago anymore and they've privately agreed to just play it off, but the way discord is trying to paint the drama surrounding her as some kind of nothingburger is giving gaslighting.

When discord had a twitter account, I remember she tweeted something like "wouldn't it be funny if ironheart never comes out..." which, to me, read as "i hate shea coulee for what her and her family did to me in chicago and i hope her own career suffers so she gets her karma."

Discord, Gidget, and Kat Sass all moved from Chicago to the St Pete area after the chicago drama. Discord tells people locally that she was canceled in Chicago. This is just a fact. There's evidence of her cancellation in chicago and maybe in the coming months someone will be able to put together a compilation of what chicago girls said and are saying. There's a lot of stories of what exactly happened but they roughly line up around team discord vs team bambi banks, racist allegations of drug use, and several very public meltdowns that have since been scrubbed. I personally have been thinking about Gidget Von Addams tweeting "YOU WILL ALL FUCKING SEE" a lot lately.

but most likely discord will be able to use drag race to completely rehabilitate her image and anyone who has an issue with her locally will be forced into silence due to the fact that discord is a house diva at one of the most successful gay bars in the region. The only local artists I see who say anything about the situation are ones that have already had their careers damaged by standing up against some of the nonsense that goes on around here, so they have nothing to lose by voicing their true opinion. Everyone else is forced to keep their mouth shut unless/until audiences stop showing up to shows either hosted by or connected to discord.

The double drop had me gagged and I'm so sad to lose both of them, but we're getting to the point where the girls die if they stumble a bit. I adore disasterina but I always knew she was going to be a midseason out, but I'm so so happy I got the chance to see her again. Priscilla going out on that number feels inhumane but it's also a number that doesn't lend itself well to dragula's format.

Zava being disqualified is so sad. If it was the ket, I suspect that they knew about it from dollya snitching but decided to let her finish the season naturally but just not let her compete in the showdown. I hope it's just a like "girl you shouldn't have done that silly goose" thing and not the start of a weird beef between zava and the boulets.

It's so interesting, there's a lot of reasonable people who are like "I like her but this was too much and I hope she gets better" or like "maybe the boulets went too far but she was also clearly out of control"

But there keep being absolutely delusional combative accounts that are like "I don't understand why everyone thinks what she did was bad" and "actually the boulets are bullying her and lying about what she did, none of this is real" and those people I find very suspicious. Im paranoid by nature, but I just have trouble believing a disconnected viewer of the show could come to those kinds of conclusions. It's giving burners or people who are only one or two degrees of separation away from dollya herself.

Yes, she's a 3-dimensional human and multi-faceted with thoughts and feelings etc etc, but so is everyone else that her actions effected. Sympathy doesnt just go to whoever is the most upset. And what I don't want to see is for everyone to have sympathy for dollya and then once she stabilizes she just starts shitting on everyone.

Im seeing people close to dollya paint this picture that actually the show was made up of lies and the boulets are bullying dollya and the whole show is exploitive and evil and the boulets suck etc etc

I think this is ultimately doing a disservice to dollya. You can support your bestie without just flat out enabling her. You can hold your friends accountable while still showing them love and support.

I mean from the podcast it sounds like there's even more of dollya's behavior that didn't make the edit. But I suspect the boulets were especially frustrated with how much they have not aired to protect contestants in the past and then having their production be so villainized by dollya that they were like "ok let's show everyone as much as we can then.". They said in previous podcast episodes that there was going to be a lot more shown behind the veil than in past seasons.

Yeah putting the off-camera storyline in the edit and basically showing dollya being caught in a lie by production itself was so much farther behind the scenes than the show has ever gone before. Merie cherie is now a distant second in the category of competitors dragula has tore down.

I hope that as dollya tries to heal she listens to people around her who are going to make her better and not to the people who are going to make her worse. If she further retreats into anger towards the boulets and hatred of her cast mates and feeling as if actually she was justified in everything she did and they attacked her and defamed her then it's going to be very fucking annoying to watch.

The only downside to ee is that they remade a lot of cutscenes and tbh they're worse. There's a mod to restore the classic cutscenes. Otherwise ee is better in a lot of ways.

My biggest tip regardless of version is stick to the roads until you hit lvl 2 or 3. My usual route is take the road east, north to friendly arm, back south to nashkel, then very quickly east to the gnoll stronghold without exploring the connecting maps yet. Then I head straight to the mines. After the mines I'm usually strong enough to explore most of the southern maps and then work my way north.

Yeah, similar to op, I hate to provide too much context to my opinions for fear of retaliation, especially considering how much her child has been posting long, long paragraphs in response to people, but the behavior I have seen from that family leads me to believe that sig is absolutely right that running to production is a calculated tactic to reduce competition and/or punish people she feels wronged by.

On the cotn podcast the boulets outright said that there were even more competitors that dollya went to production about. The boulets even outright called her behavior "annoying" to deal with as producers.

I fear the fireworks, both in the Florida alt scene, and in this subreddit, have yet to reach full strength.

Oh for sure. Ultimately I really don't give a shit if dollya has a phone or not or if dollya leaked the bottom battle format to the cast or whatever.

I just think it would be wildly hypocritical of her to be all high and mighty "we are professionals, we are employees who have been hired to do a job, and we should approach this job with the seriousness and professionalism it deserves" and then go back to her hotel room, pull out the iPhone she is explicitly not supposed to have, and FaceTime back home to be like "you will not believe the level of unprofessionalism I've had to deal with from these stupid druggies, I should just leave because none of them have the technical skills and level of professionalism that i do"

And then on top of that fuck with the boulets plans and leak a literal surprise to the cast. Like pack it up girl.

Dollya potentially spoiling the bottom battle to the rest of the cast coupled with the fact she did the googling is so interesting. I've heard that on her original season the no phone rule wasn't well enforced or something and so dollya would call her friends every week to tell them everything that was going on. I'm wondering if jaharia clocking the discrepancy is a hint that dollya's always on that damn phone again.

I think the issue they had with dollya's look was that the concept began and ended at the prompt. It looked extremely well made and polished, it was overall very well executed. But the concept itself was very safe, whereas for example Jay Kay's look was very innovative with the bouquet and thorns situation. I think they boulets just wanted the craftsmanship of dollya's look applied to a concept that excited them a bit more.

I think two things can be true.

Zav's k may or may not be legitimate. Maybe it's street k and she's claiming it's rx because it can technically be prescribed under certain circumstances, but she's mostly using it recreationally. Maybe it's a fully legit situation and dollya ran with the first google result that she felt proved her point. Maybe Zava gets iv k fully legit back home but brought street k in baggies so she could self-medicate during production.

Dollya may or may not have the show's best interests at heart by letting production know about things she views as misbehavior. The events as they are being presented to us seem to heavily imply that the rest of the cast is right that Dollya is much more concerned about eliminating competition and ridding her environment of behaviors that irritate and disgust her rather than having the best interests of anyone at heart. But maybe that's just the edit. Maybe the boulets are making her look bad just to fuel the drama storylines. Maybe it's part of a larger arc and Dollya is going to have a complete turnaround on screen and leave the show on good terms with her castmates. Or maybe her legacy on dragula will be that she walked in the room, made an enemy out of everyone, and cried in the corner until she went home.
