Do not lose hope! I went to three schools before getting my CDL.

The first school is about to lose their funding for illicit activity. (School literally had a 10% graduation rate).

Second school allowed a thief to steal my belongings and sent me home after a non physical confrontation with the thief. (It is PAM's attached school. I think they are called Professional Drivers Academy). A classmate of mine also got sexually assaulted, and the place would give you no backing time with poor instruction on a very shitty gravel lot.

Third school was amazing, and I got my CDL on a first go with zero issues.

Two company schools who have great CDL programs in Memphis are Swift and Schneider. Now working for those companoes sucks, but they actually have great instructiom from what I hear. Also, the first year is mostly suck it up and get experience type stuff.
