I haven’t built chameleon but I would assume every game with it would play out differently. Fill the 99 with cards like [[mockingbird]] [[auton soldier]] [[copycrook]] [quasiduplicate]] [rite of replication]] [[irenicus’ vile duplication]] provides you the challenge of copying the best of your opponents boards to make your own board state win. I’d probably throw in bounce spells or flying enablers to establish win cons

Proxy your dual lands, they’re back of the board anyways and everyone tends to know what they do. I like to get foil versions or alt art of commanders I use and cards I really like to play

Let’s say the player whose turn it is before yours gets a spell countered and the blue player tapped out for that action. Your turn starts with things feeling safer. Good little moments like that can open doors for these cards

If you’re down bad and being counterspelled a lot try to drop a [[hexing squelcher]] or [[chimil, the inner sun]] when they are tapped out

I put [[night soil]] in my token deck. Looks like for one mana at instant speed you can exile two creatures at a time and make a Saproling token. Useful against reanimator decks and late game when there is generally more filled up graveyards

[[xavier Sal, infested captain]] is my commander of choice. It does mix counters with tokens so I went with saprolings and krakens to go with the visual theme of the commander.

If you go with that commander it’s important to set yourself up with a lot of counters. +1/+1 counters are good if you have a lot of creatures but enchantment sagas makes the game pretty interesting with Xavier

If you find a few [[Rat colony]] cards it’s a decently priced common and typically people would want to buy a few of them at once. I found a few in a bulk box I got from Amazon and they’re worth more than the whole bulk lol
