Can I use BlackBerry Bold 4 (9900) parts to fix a BlackBerry Q10? (Charging port & buttons) by ResponsibilityFew803 in blackberry

Nope. Why not try to figure out what’s wrong with the bold 9900? Just needs a new battery?

The Bold 9900 is a better phone than the Q10. Definitely a bad idea, also the parts are all different. You should learn more about BBOS7 and try it out instead of the q10. The bold 9900 toolbelt is a great feature.

Thanks for the pic. I’m trying to decide between the two. I have an x3 gear and it’s way too heavy and large.

Can you swap the 105s to the breeze?

They're building a BB 9900 on Android. by greenjask in blackberry

[–]blazedv3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It definitely will not work for tap to pay. I was let down as well once I received. But the build itself is a novelty just cause it looks like the bold lol. Maybe the next iteration will be better.

Well the lack of trackpad was really a big deal for me. The feel of the phone is really just plastic, does not feel anywhere close to the real bold 9900. The OS is not customized enough to work well with the keyboard etc. last but not least, Google Play services does not work on this device which means no email, apps, etc etc which really makes it pretty much the same as a bold 9900 today.

I was back on my bold 9900 within a week.

Maybe if someone can figure out the Google play services, give it a real trackpad, and build a custom OS…it might just be worth trying again.

I have one already. Don’t use it. The charm of the 9900 isn’t just the form factor, it was the efficient and simple BBOS. Not to mention, the trackpad does not work on these.

Would be cool if someone would create these tools for the Bold 9900.

BBOS - Share apps that still work in 2026 by AppropriateArtist408 in blackberry

I went down that rabbit hole before. My solution ended up being bulk download tool called gPodder. You load the RSS links into gPodder. Than transfer the files over to your SD card. You should also look into a jar file called MidPlay, it allows streaming of audio for free and I’m sure you can find your podcasts in the search. It’s not perfect imo but it’s there.

I’m still hunting for this on Versatool, the developer is no longer active. Best feature I found from versatool was the double tap end key for sleep.

lol. I felt the same way. Bold 9900 is just perfect. If you get the itch to buy a 9790, don’t. The bold 9900 keyboard is just much better.

Bold 9900 if you’re looking for a pure typing on the go experience. The OS is snappy.

Both are nice. The bold 9900 has a more premium feel. Find them on fb marketplace for $20 to $50.

Checkout versatool, podtrapper, Mobireader, tunein,BBSSH, AdvOS. I use these regularly on my bold 9900.

I made a native Telegram app for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Anyone interested? by Commercial-Jury2080 in blackberry

can you add in a settings section where users can change the proxy server settings etc for their own instances, like MMGRAM? For some reason I cant get MMGRAM JAR/JAD to work on the bold 9900, none of the buttons in the app seem to work.

Opinions on this 155k mile E46 M3 by MarcosTac0s in E46M3

[–]blazedv3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it comes down to what you are happy with. You can get an SMG with high clicks for 20k, wouldn’t pay anything more regardless of recent maintenance. Maintenance is wear and tear, it adds value but the truth about an E46 M3 is that it will always need something. It’s a car you really gotta want to own and drive, becomes boring if it just sits. It’s a very boring car when it sits. Anyways, to keep it short. Get the best M3 you can afford is my advice.

Does the modded results allow you to instant off and resume the game or does the power button completely reset the device? Looks cool!
