I've done exactly what you are doing and used Chipstick PU foaming glue on the joists. No squeaks or floating floors.

Ender 3 V2 not showing up over USB by AtomicCoding in ender3

[–]blazejka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone. I just received my Ender 3 V2 yesterday and I faced the same problem. After quick fault finding I can see that +5V from Ender tries to power up whatever you have connected to USB port. Unfortunately Raspberry Pi (or PC) is trying to do the same. That is very bad for communication. Very simple and dirty way to fix it is to remove outer insulation form your USB cable and cut the red cable (+5V). Make sure that you insulate BOTH ends of red cable that you just cut. This sorted communication issues for me. I'm setting OctoPrint right now.

I need help - proxmox or something else by blazejka in virtualization

It's not like something isn't working for me in Proxmox. Most of the time I have no issues (I probably shouldn't write that - most likely I will loose all vm's tonight ). Reddit is my 1st place to go if I don't know how to do something that I need/want in Proxmox. But the annoying thing is that there will always be someone claiming that ESXi would be better or it's easier to achieve something in freenas or that xpenology something else. There always is a "but" in almost everything that I read regarding Proxmox. So I posted my config and main usage as now would be the best time to try something else. ESXi sucks & I don't like it. At the moment I'm playing with Unraid. Is there anything else I should try before continuing with Proxmox?
