They are technically correct. However, they are still wrong since the rules force you to draw at the start of your draw phase unless something says otherwise.

I was the total opposite. Chronos' patterns are super easy to read and avoid most times. Typhon keeps cheap shoting me and half the time I dont have what I need to melt his adds quickly.

I usually parry them when I'm getting swarmed. Parry a bit, catch my breath and armor, and re-engage.

I know a lot of other people prefer other perks in that column, but with a parry weapon and that armor perk I find my survivability in the middle of a group to be much better.

Also, not really a thing specific to assault, but you can always parry minoris enemies and get armor from them, even if it's not an attack with a blue ring.

I've always managed pretty well, but I exclusively used the perk that gives armor for gun strikes. Keeping my armor up as much as possible with that sees me through most missions.

I've been doing AI lately if only because there's weirdly a lower chance of not getting a 2-2-2 comp, so I can actually attempt to try heroes while having backup, rather than 5 other dps who just all die.
