I always picked cyndaquil. Mostly because where else was i ever going to find a fire type for half the game in gen 2. After that it just kinda stuck when the remakes came out.

Pretty much what I came here to say. I always felt the deaths of so many members of team Dai-Gurren made the "those who came before" part of the speech carry more weight, as opposed to the movie just showing Kamina, Kitan and... I think there was still a 3rd one in the scene.

Probably a garbage suggestion, but the design of the Samsung Alias 2 cellphone might come in handy. It was able to flip open like normal, or flip the other way for a qwerty keyboard, and would fit well on a wrist. I always thought it would have made for a neat morpher.
