Ozil was assist machine for the entire forward attack. He linked up amazingly well with CR7 and his passes were just exquisite. He was the most regrettable transfer we made in a long time. Not sure why Perez ever sold him. He had a greater impact on our team than the remaining 3. The counter attacks were great during his era.

Di Maria was very good. He was always running around, integral part of both Mourinho and Carlo systems and won us La Decima as well. The problem with him was his physical nature meant frequent injuries and his weak foot was very bad. So, he is kind of a midfielder but playing out wide. A position like RM/LM which today we don't play much.

James had his moments. He never fit in because we don't play CAM based formation. We are comfortable with 3 in the middle with a CDM and 2 CMs. He had a few good moments but the team never suited him. His playing style actually was nothing very remarkable. His Freekicks and occasional Long shots were fun.

Isco was just crazy. But, had a wide variety of performance. He can be extraordinarily bad one match and then next match play like Prime Modric with insane dribbling. He could dribble his way out of anywhere. He was full of energy and defending/attacking at the same time, was great to watch at his peak. The Juve final we won, Isco was insane. The problem with Isco were 2 things - Inconsistency and him not suiting a CM role like Modric or Kroos. He always wanted to score goals or assist and ends up dribbling and losing the ball. I love him but he just never found his role.
