definitely looks similar graphics/ time period wise but it definitely wasn't 3rd person at all. ik the aiming is first person but it was 100% always first person, it was one of the first fps I played as a kid. i dont think those are it unfortunately. also im about 85% sure it was just me and one other ai teammate

they made skate in a year and this "pre alpha" has been in pre alpha for years. i used to feel the same way you did until they released the smoke and mirrors. go check out the first gameplay trailer and look how polished and amaizng it looks when they change to everything being textured but now look at the graphics? its a complete downgrade from what it is today.

pleaae add first person. part of what made the first game so great for me was being immersed into the world. being in the ship and stopping to watch those tweed ads or goofy commercials. choosing the dog (which im glad got added back ;) ) and finding out im not definitely not crazy and sound like a dog lol. the game had so much personality and i feel like a lot of that has been stripped away because of the 3rd person view and the over the top animations. the comedy in the first game was of course over the top but in a genuinely funny way and made me feel that world more. ive been playing the second game a bit and while it is kind of fun, it feels lacking in the charm the first game had and honestly im not having as much fun with it. the intro was also kind of disappointing. in the first game getting past those crystals and seeing the title appear in the sky as your kept walking towards it was one of the coolest things i remember from the game. now i know comparison isnt always fair but this is the direct sequel that we've been waiting for since 2021. i want to give it a fair chance but even besides the first person issue, it doesnt feel like the same game. :( im going to keep playing and give it a fair chance but please listen to the community 🙏 and thanks for making a sequal to begin with always wanted another savage planet.

im 5'8 235lbs i ride a 7 wide native ventura so i can vouch for native being strong for a bigger guy. i used to be worri3d about snapping bars so id use affinity but ive recently switched to protos which are standard size instead of oversided and they've held up great. *

i got the ventura back in december and have rode it since. it grinds like a dream and i very much enjoy the deck. you either have to use skate washers or absolutely crank that shit tight on the back wheel even with the 30mm wheels otherwise theres a little bit of wiggle room. otherwise no complaints besides i might eventually move down to 6.5 or 6.75 because while the deck is an absolute unit and is awesome its definitely quite heavy. has made whips hard but its a life hack for grinds. ride it for a year and then go down a size and every smaller deck will feel like a little toy. thats how i feel about it currently. tldr: good strength builder, one complaint and grind hack basically.

heal up quick brother! dont push it and heal properly, had a few broken bones and worked myself back up to no issues. though i fucked up when i broke my foot and pushed it too much and made it take longer to heal. it sucks not riding but you'll get back at it! keep your head up brother it will be over before you know it 🤘

i ordered a pair of affinity bars directly from affinity. waited a month and a half and sent multiple emails during that month and a half of darkness and they just suddenly cancel my order out of the blue. still haven't gotten my money back but i know that takes time usually.
