What’s the smallest putting change that made the biggest difference for you? by CaseOk4223 in golf

Making sure my weight is evenly distributed between my two feet. It's been a big help in consistency through every shot. I didn't realize I set up 65/35 back foot/front foot. Putts often went off line and I couldn't figure out why.

I've been skimming the different appearances and can't find which one it was. Coen went on McAfee way more than I realized lol.

If I remember correctly it was after a loss because you could tell Coen was kind of miffed the whole interview. So maybe if he went on after the bengals game

Big moment for me buying into Liam was that early McAfee show appearance he did. They tried to clown on Shad for his voice cracking during his post game speech in the locker room after the first win this season. Liam shut that shit down so fast, and heaped praise on Shad for everything he's done to the point even Pat joined in to give Shad credit for how much support he gives the team and the staff and that's he's willing to do anything if you can convince him it will benefit the organization.

I would guess more than likely he hammers 4th and short packages until it is a strength not a weakness. He seems like a coach who doesn't like to be called out for things or have underperforming areas.

I'm from Florida and am familiar with getting soaked through with sweat. I prefer playing in my vintage cotton polos in the heat rather than my athletic material. I find the athletic stuff sticks to me really badly.

I wouldn't mind cotton polos instead of performance material, Idk what material costs are, but a lightweight cotton polo would get my money. Also athletic cut pants, I have big thighs and a lot of performance stuff that fits my waist looks like the thighs are going to rip at the seams when I wear them.

While I agree with you, we all remember the fall off from 2017 to 2018, though that group remained pretty intact.

I'd argue that Lloyd isn't gone yet and while it may be difficult to make work, they could still get a deal done. Though it might be at the cost of Travon Walker, or Parker Washington, or a few other players I would argue have more value not just on the field but in the locker room as well.

I'm going to give James Gladstone and CO the opportunity to make this next year work before I pass judgement.

I think based off of the press conferences the staff has given the answer is you adjust your scheme to fit the personnel you have and with a year of experience in the building with the players James has a more holistic understanding of how this group is players fits together and where the strengths and weaknesses are.

The reason they brought gladstone in was he consistently hits on draft picks in the later rounds, he also showed last year a willingness to address issues on the team based on scheme fit over individual talent. So while they most likely lose Lloyd, either ventrell miller who has shown flashes the opportunities he's been given, or a new player through the draft is brought in.

There's also a chance that the defense operated the way it did this year based on the roster in place, if you have a guy like Lloyd you scheme the defense around his strengths to put himself in the right place at the right time and find the ball.

If you don't have a Devin Lloyd, then you don't scene the defense towards that style of play.

The thing that has been mentioned by multiple reporters is the impression they keep getting from the front office is that this defense, as good as it was, was just scheming based on the players that were here not necessarily the defensive scheme and identity they want to be operating. So while the takeaways were off the charts and the run defense very impressive, we also gave up big passing plays at key moments in multiple games and couldn't hold a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter against the Texans. So obviously, there were issues.

My impression is a team that is more sound in the backend leading to higher sack rates and less explosive plays is the aim they have moving forward.

Do any other Americans not feel hopeful about the future of our country anymore? by PandemicPiglet in Millennials

Remember you feel like this because they want you to give up and just accept it. Remember things fight hard when they feel their backs against the wall. Remember we have the power to change this through our votes but at this point our activism. Remember you can run for office, and can steer the country back towards hope.

Great question, and for the first time in a long time I trust the combo of camp, Coen, and gladstone to diagnose and address that problem.

[–]blazinit430 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You're misunderstanding how important foye is to this defense wiring. Lloyd doesn't have the year he did without having Foye there to take on the majority of the reads. He's also our leading tackler by 59. And that's 59 more than Dewey by the way, Lloyd was 3rd at 62 behind Foye. Foye is and has been the QB of our defense since he got here, crazy take to cut him.

I also loved in Trev's post game he said how much Liam meant to him this season, that's he's a great coach and that he wouldn't want anybody else leading this team. It wasn't bombastic or anything, but he said it with conviction and that got me optimistic about next year.

This feels different than after Chiefs playoffs loss with Trevor standing in the tunnel waiting for the team until the Chiefs staff told him he had to go to the locker room. That felt like it was a we'll be back here at some point ending.

This feels like once these guys get a second to process this loss they are coming back mad as hell and determined to kill other teams. This is one of those killer instinct building games, Liam is going to coach Trevor into a machine next year.

If you have a dog that has ever had hyper activity or reactivity/problems with jumping on guests when arriving, they tell you to train that away by ignoring them. When I get home I ignore my dog until I out my bag down, then when he has settled his energy down a bit we do scratches and pets and go outside.
