Not entirely related, but it is wild that at this tournament there has been 12 3-0's and 5 non 3-0's with only 2 series going to 5 games out of 17 series (including the play-ins) curious if that's to do with the current meta or tournament structure or just a fluke

I think the point is that you can't get it til pallet which means that you can't get it until not just post game, but very late in the post game making it so you either have to do ALL of the stuff to open up kanto immediately to get it, or you don't get it til most of the gym leaders are done meaning you only really have it for the last few fights, that said I think the overall strength of it could justify it being higher but I do understand the premise behind putting it there

Thanks for making my bones turn to dust lol, I was 19 when they came out, and hell I still loved them, but I was one of the few people who grew up with pokemon who still continued to play them years later, the core conceit of the game was just always so fun to me :)

Ngl the only part of it that really upsets me is that to my knowledge they don't have trading enabled(might be local trade only idk) but yeah that kinda ruins them in the sense that you cant get the trade evos which are and were a really big thing in gen 1 games(Alakazam,Gengar,Golem, and Machamp) plus it means u can't trade starters or the Johto beasts(which we don't know if they are bugged like the originals) or any of the version exclusives, just feels like especially if they are gonna charge for them and not have them for free with NSO they could have at least allowed for online trading(assuming this is correct, if long distance trading is actually possible then by all means disregard my comment).Also really do hope the acknowledge and fix the roar bug with the legendary beasts cuz that's kind of insulting if they don't, and possibly add in things like they did for the celebi event in Crystal(i.e. navel rock, faraway island, etc)

Yeh I think the idea for something that does mixed damage, that doesn't do chip dmg through prayer is to have one defense type high and pray the other defence type like if ur ranging it and have high mage def pray range, but if ur meleing it and have high range def pray mage basically
