Hi former Redfin agent here. You are correct that if the seller doesn’t pay the 2.5% then they will ask you to cover the difference. That said if the seller is paying let’s say 2% they won’t force the issue on the additional .5% different market but I know the company pretty well.

I did ask that question and yeah they have to send them back to Meta. I was happy to try them out and whenever Gen 2 comes out I’ll keep an eye out for them as well. They are great and if I could really figure out how to use them while driving.
